Better late than never, right? It's that time again: my monthly Ipsy bag review!

This month's theme is Classic Beauty - From Mona Lisa to Monroe, classic beauties have made us swoon from generation to generation. It's a month to showcase all the
gorgeous you've got with September's "Classic Beauty" Glam Bag.

The Bag: Meh. Not a fan. The bag is a fun bright blue in a satin material but the lace pattern (for me) is too large and kind of tacky, to be honest.

Cailyn Cosmetics Tinted Lip Balm
At first glance, I was disappointed when I received this. I'm not much of a lip balm wearer but decided to barrel through and try it out for the sake of a review. I mean, how do I even apply this thing? The balm itself is kind of deep into the pot and my small finger could barely get in without making a mess. I felt like such a goof when I figured out the top comes off to real a small brush, perfect for applying this. Oops! This lip balm is formulated with a 3D Smart Film Former, which keeps colors vibrant longer. Speaking of, talk about pigment!

Elizabeth Mott It's So Big Mascara
Yay! I don't think I can ever have too many mascaras. Apparently, this is an Ipsy exclusive release which is pretty cool. The hourglass shaped wand is supposed to ensure you get just the right amount of the uniquely formulated mascara applied to each lash. It claims to deliver big volume and lengthens your lashes. I have yet to use this but the description is a tall order to fill. Fingers crossed this does all it claims.

Starlooks Kohl Eye Pencil in Obsidian
I think I already have this from a previous Starlooks Starbox but there's nothing wrong with having extra. This pencil is so smooth and never pulls my eyelids. It's really easy to smudge to create that smokey look.

NYX Eyeshadow in Charcoal
I would say this a smidge darker in person than in this picture. It's also very shimmery which the camera didn't really pick up. That being said, I do think this is wearable. The shadow itself feels like velvet and is super pigmented without primer.

Freeman Facial Purifying Paper Mask in Star Fruit, Blue Agave & Rose
These are products I was most excited to try out! I've never tried out a face mask before, nonetheless a paper one. Out of these three, I've only tried the Blue Agave one which is for dry, thirsty skin. The Star Fruit one purifies and helps control oil and Rose one is to brighten and tone. Going off the Blue Agave one, they're a bit messy but worth it. To use them: take them out of the package, unfold and peel off of the paper. Leave on for 5-10 minutes. Peel it off from the eyeholes and pat on the excess serum. Don't wipe it off! Right off the bat, my skin felt nice and hydrated.
