Firmoo Eyeglasses in #FZL028 - Review + Giveaway!

Helllllo everyone! Today I have for you a little different of a review than I normally do that I was very excited to try out: Firmoo eyeglasses! For those who don't know, I've been wearing glasses since the 6th grade. Around highschool, I succumbed to contacts but I still wear glasses about 2-3 times a week.

A few weeks ago, Firmoo was awesome enough to send me some new eyeglasses to try out! Firmoo is ah-mazing for cheap, high quality and super trendy glasses for prescription and non-prescription eyeglass wearers. It's also really easy to order from. Have prescription glasses? There's a super easy form to fill out with all your info. AND, Firmoo currently has a Free Glasses Program right now - all you do is pay shipping! Don't like your glasses? You can return/exchange them with no hassle.

So let's check out the glasses I chose - #FZL028 in red!

Large sized and retro styled, always popular.
How cute are these glasses? Unfortunately, I couldn't find my prescription so I ended up getting these without a prescription in them. Wah! I don't think it'll be a problem to take these somewhere and get prescription lens popped in though. If you don't have a prescription, I think glasses are still fun to rock as an accessory. The quality on these glasses are amazing. I've already dropped them (oops!) and no scratches to be seen.

My Firmoo glasses came with a hard case, a soft velvet drawstring bag as an alternative to the hard case and a cloth.

Giveaway has unfortunately been cancelled. My apologies! Xx

L'Oreal Colour Riche la Laque Lip Colors - Review

Hi loves! Today I have something that'll change your life. I swear. I'm talking about the limited edition (wahh!) L'Oreal Colour Riche La Laque Lip Pencils. They are ah-maze-balls, guys! L'Oreal recently released these pencils along with a La Matte foursome that I haven't been able to find yet but hope to try out soon.

While there's four total in the la Laque collection, I snagged three because, well, they were sold out of the fourth one. Poo. The three I did manage to grab were Lacque-onic, I Lacque You A Lot and Lacquer-ized.

All three have an amazing creamy formula to work with and are extremely pigmented and glossy. Although they're all pretty intense colors, I never experienced any feathering and wear time was around 3-4 hours for me. The tip of the lip pencil is a swivel-up which is really nice and the slanted tip is easy to line and color in with.

I Lacque You A Lot is a bright tomato red with a hint of orange undertones. This reminds me a lot of a red that Taylor Swift would rock.

Lacquer-ized is a fun bright pink-lavender. Unfortunately, I think my boss would kill me if I wore this to work everyday but holy cow, this color is so amazing. I kind of feel like Nicki Minaj.

Lacque-onic is a deep blue-based red. If I had to pick a favorite out of the bunch (which would be really, REALLY hard) it would be this one. I think this is perfect for fall.

Swatches (L-R): Lacquer-ized, I Lacque You A Lot & Lacquer-onic

Availability: Limited edition at drugstores (I found mine at Target)
Price: $5.99 - $7.99

Urban Decay Naked Basics Palette

Hi beautiful! Today I wanted to share with you another one of my favorite palettes of all time: Urban Decay Naked Basics! For every one who loves a great matte palette, I highly recommend this one to you. This palette comes with six full-sized eyeshadows. Let's check them out!

Urban Decay Naked Basics
The palette itself is the smallest palette I've ever owned. It's very simple (which is very unlike UD) but I love it. It almost feels like it's made of a silicone rubber which is great for wiping down and keeping clean.

The Eyeshadows:
  • Venus - a soft shimmery-white satin. This is the perfect color to highlight with!
  • Foxy - a yellowy beige. Very soft and easy to work with.
  • Walk of Shame - a pinky beige. Very soft, pigmented and easy to work with.
  • Naked 2 - a light brown taupe. Very soft, pigmented and easy to work with.
  • Faint - a chocolate brown. Very soft, pigmented and easy to work with.
  • Crave - a rich black. Extremely pigmented.
Swatches (L-R): Venus, Foxy, Walk of Shame, Naked 2, Faint & Crave

Overall: I absolutely love this palette. Each and every eyeshadow is so pigmented and soft with or without primer. It is absolute matte perfection!

Availability: Urban Decay / Ulta / Sephora
Price: $27

Fresh & Fruity Mini Slant Tweezer
Tweezerman's mini slant tweezers are perfect for throwing in your make-up bag or in your purse for on-the-go. These tweezers are great for precision with tips that grab exactly where you want. The print itself is so fun!

Neon Filemate
LOVE this file! Two of my favorite colors combined? Score! This file features 100/180 grits for filing down both natural nails and acrylic nails. This set includes two other files in equally neon colors and a carrying case.

Too Faced Loves Sephora Palette - Swatches & Review

Hello beautiful! Today I have for you a review and swatches of one of my favorite palettes ever. I use this palette almost every single day. It's the Too Faced Loves Sephora 15 Years of Beauty Palette and sigh - let's check this baby out!

The Too Faced Loves Sephora 15 Years of Beauty Palette retails for $52. It comes with 10 exclusive eye shadows (each named for an iconic moment, person or memory that Too Faced and Sephora shared together - love it!), two bronzers, a blush, a mini Too Faced Shadow Insurance Eye Primer, a flatbuki brush and a Too Faced signature Glamour Guide that shows you how to achieve 15 different looks! This palette commemorates the 15 years Too Faced and Sephora have been working together.

Let's quickly talk about the packaging? TO DIE FOR. I've said it a million times but I'm such a sucker for great packaging. I don't think I've ever owned a palette in a tin before!

Too Faced Loves Sephora 15 Years of Beauty Palette

Piano Keys is a light beige shadow with very, VERY subtle shimmer (which you can't see in this picture - boo!) Piano Key's name comes from the iconic black and white stripes of Sephora's brand.

Behind The Counter is a satin taupe eyeshadow. The name is from where Jerrod Blandino and his co-partner Jeremy started: behind the make up counter at department stores!

So Cal is a gorgeous peachy pink with what appears to be a pearl luster. TF <3's The Cast is this amazing metallic gold but it's so different from the typical gold eyeshadow. It's almost like someone ground up real gold and put it in the pan. It has a rawer, more natural  gold look to it. So Cal gets its name from the birthplace of Too Faced! TF <3's The Cast is named after how inspired TF is from their cast - the Sephora store employees!

Soho is a beautiful frosted lavender and Envy is a deep dark purple shimmer. Soho gets its name from where Sephora's first store was located. Envy is named after the cartoon girl Jerrod drew in silhouette that became part of TF's logo.

Jer Jer is a fun metallic-y gold bronze. 525 Market is a metallic reddish copper. Jer Jer is named after TF's founder, co-founder and partners of 18 years, Jerrod and Jeremy! 525 Market is the address of the San Fran Sephora offices.

David & Marg is a metallic green. 1998 is a hot purple with gold glitter. Can I just stop and say that these are my two favorites of this palette? Ahhh. David & Marg is named after David Suliteanu, Sephora’s CEO, and Margarita Arriagada, head merchant. 1998 gets its name from the year Too Faced was born and when they joined Sephora.

Swatches (L-R): Piano Keys, Behind The Counter, So Cal, Soho, TF <3'S The Cast, Envy, Jer Jer, David & Marg, 525 Market and 1998

Chocolate Soleil Bronzer is a matte brown bronzer (and my ultimate fave!). As soon as I opened the palette, I could smell the sweet chocolate-y smell of this bronzer. Sun Bunny Bronzer is a shimmery bronze. It does have some orange undertones to it. Who's Your Poppy? Blush is a beautiful natural peach flush and has been comparable to NARS Orgasm.

To round out this already amazing palette, they've added a mini Flatbuki brush made with their infamous and cruelty-free "teddy bear hair" and a mini Shadow Insurance Anti-Crease Eye Shadow Primer (that I swear by)!

Not Shown: Too Faced Glamour Guides that show how to achieve 15 unique looks using these products!

Overall, I'm so in love with this palette! Every single eyeshadow is extremely pigmented and smooth. I experienced no creasing nor fading with and without a primer. I highly recommend this anyone looking for a fun palette. My favorites are David & Marg and 1998!

Availability: Sephora & Too Faced
Price: $52.00 ($145 value)
