L'Oréal Colour Riche Extraordinary Lip Colours in Fuchsia Orchestra, Rose Symphony & Plum Adagio - Swatches & Review

A few days ago, I stopped at Rite Aid to browse the new drugstore collections (and may or may not have been on the look out for Maybelline's Baby Skin)! Unfortunately, I didn't find the Baby Skin primer but I did found these L'Oreal Colour Riche Extraordinary Lip Colours!

The L'Oreal Colour Riche Extraordinary Lip Colour line comes in 16 different shades and debuted in December. L'Oreal is really knocking it out of the ballpark with their Colour Riche line. I love that it has the intense pigmentation of a lipstick but with the high gloss look of a lipgloss. This liquid lipstick contains micro oils for a smooth, cushy feel on your lips. The formula isn't thick at all but leaves your lips feeling covered. Wear time is about 4 - 6 hours.

The packaging is superb! It looks so luxurious but with a drugstore price. I also really like the window on the side because it shows exactly what you get inside. No guessing games! In the pictures below, you'll see the applicator which is a widened doe foot. Love it! It makes it so easy to apply to your lips.

Fuchsia Orchestra, Rose Symphony & Plum Adagio

Fuchsia Orchestra - is a bright fuchsia with subtle shimmer. Love, love, love this color! It's incredibly smooth on my lips and the pigmentation is amazing. No pulling, no tugging, no uneven application.  Just a nice opaque lip with a glossy finish.

Rose Symphony - is a nice warm pink color with subtle shimmer. This color is going to be awesome for spring. Again, no pulling or tugging and definitely no uneven application. Just pure perfection!

Rose Symphony

Plum Adagio - is a stunning black cherry with shimmer. This color is gorgeous but I did have an issue with it kind of moving around on my lips. I think it's just because it's a darker color and is more obvious when it moves than the lighter colors. In the end, it's a liquid so I guess it's to be expected. I also noticed a bit of feathering. It's still pretty nonetheless.

Overall, I want them all. Haha. Seriously though. I can't get over how pigmented they are yet how cushy and glossy they feel. I absolutely love them. I had no serious issues with any of them although if I had to point out one, it'd be the feathering from Plum Adagio. I think that could be solved by wearing something underneath it.

Where can I find it? Rite Aid, your local drugstores. Price: $7.99
Have you guys seen this yet? Have you tried them? Which one is your favorite?

  1. These are beautiful. I love liquid lipstick but it lasts like two seconds on me. Did you leave them on long enough to test them for wear time?

    1. Really? Oh no :( For me, they lasted about 4-6 hours. Plum Adagio surprisingly lasted the longest.
