IT Cosmetics Your Skin But Better CC+ Cream - Review

Guys, get excited! I think I found the most amazing CC cream you'll ever lay your eyes on: It Cosmetics Your Skin But Better CC+ Cream! If you can remember, a few weeks ago I received the It Cosmetics CC Your Way to Beautiful Skin set but unfortunately, the CC cream that was sent was way too dark for me. They sent me a replacement in my shade and I've been using it ever since.

Your Skin But Better CC+ Cream
So what does CC+ mean? CC means color correcting. The +  after it means that it does a whole boat load more than just that. On top of color correcting, this cream is a full coverage foundation, an anti-aging hydrating serum, a pore-minimizing primer, a moisturizing day cream AND has a SPF of 50! This cream was formulated with plastic surgeons and is clinically proven to brighten and increase skin hydration by 79%!

Right off the bat, I loved that even though this foundation came in a tube, it had a pump at the end! Love, love, love that! It pumped out just the right amount without an clogging or mess. At first glance, I was worried this shade (Light) was going to be way too dark for me but once I applied it to my face, it basically looked like my face but better (oh hey-). It was a teensy bit dark for me but I feel like it worked. For my fellow pale girls, if you don't want some "tan" to your face, the shade "Fair" would be better. I feel like "Light" stood for light tan.

The formula itself is so nice and light but is full coverage! It's a great consistency an isn't too thin nor thick. It's perfect. I used my Heavenly Luxe Plush Paddle Foundation Brush to apply this and felt like a little went such a long way. The brush combined with the CC+ cream created such a gorgeous flawless, light look. I do want to note that there is a botanical scent but I personally like it.

Overall, I absolutely loved this CC+ cream! I always say this in every It Cosmetics post but I always expect the highest quality from them and they always deliver. This foundation was extremely easy to work with and gave me full coverage without feeling thick on the skin. When I used the Heavenly Luxe Plush Paddle Foundation Brush with this cream, it created such a flawless airbrushed look. Love this!

  1. This looks great on you. Thank you for describing the light shade so well. I was waffling between ordering light and fair, I am going to pull the trigger on fair. We are going in to Summer, I can always warm up with a bit of bronzer.

  2. Does it feel like full coverage or would you say it is light on the skin? I know it is a weird question but I would like to try this myself :-O

    1. Norah it fully is super light on the skin, but gives pretty dang good coverage for CC cream. Like you put it on and literally it doesnt feel like a mask like some others can. :)

  14. that's 'light'? crazy. I'm glad I read this! I just bought a couple of things from IT on Ulta tonight, but haven't pulled the trigger on the CC cream yet. Maybe I'll have to see that one in person, but I'm pretty sure I'd be a 'fair'.

    1. YES! I think it stands for "Light"...tan. Hahaha. It worked for me plus I usually self tan but for girls with pale skin with pink tones (or me in the winter with no self tanner), I don't think this would work for them.

  15. It does look a little dark at first, but it seems to match your neck pretty well. It has such a yellow undertone!

    1. It's definitely darker what you'd expect "light" to be but it worked for me. It does have yellow undertones although I think the light in my bathroom sucks because it doesn't look like that yellow in person. Lol
