My brows, ladies and gentlemen, have definitely seen better days lately. Pregnancy has made them thicker than ever (YAY!) but not evenly distributed (WTF!?). So in some places, I have lush, awesome, fab hairs and in others, well, let's just say it looks like the grass is still growing. I'm not sure what the phenomenon is behind this but I'm just chalking it up to another weirdo pregnancy thing and rolling with it - by investing in a brow pencil.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz
My weapon of choice? Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz - a fine-tipped retractable pencil that is perfect for mimicking the appearance of tiny hairs. It's dual-ended with a spooley brush on one side and a mechanical pencil on the other. The spooley brush is fab for blending in the Brow Wiz product while the retractable pencil saves product since it never needs sharpening.

Guys, I think I'm in love. This is exactly what I was looking for! The Brow Wiz is perfect for someone who's looking to fill in any sparse areas in their eyebrows. The pencil itself is smooth to work with but still hard enough to keep shape and create small lines to mimic your brow hairs. I've kind of worked out a system where I start at the front of the brow (closest to my nose) and flick upwards to fill in that area. Then I go in with small strokes and fill in the rest of areas that need a little help. In between filling in the spots, I go through with the spooley brush to blend everything it. Using it definitely makes everything less harsh and look less drawn in.

Dual-Ended: Spooley on one side and pencil on the other

The color "Medium Ash" (now "Medium Brown" now) is fab for light to medium brown hair with cool or ashy tones/light to medium skin tones. I actually have dark hair and still thought this worked great and left my eyebrows looking awesome without looking overdone.
