Kat Von D Chrysalis Palette - Swatches & Review

Hi babes! I have been dying to review this palette since I posted the MAC & Sephora VIB Haul but I got so sidetracked with other posts and life that I haven't had a chance to check it out until now. It's the Kat Von D Chrysalis Palette!

The Kat Von D Chrysalis Palette is a cool-toned eyeshadow palette with a savvy composition of shades - three large base shades and nine transformative accent hues - for a spectrum of stunning eye looks. The eyeshadows are triple-milled for a soft, dense shadow that is easy to blend and apply. The eyeshadow formula includes an infusion of antioxidants like rose extract, vitamins A, C and E to keep your eyelids hydrated and protected.

So let's talk about the packaging first. It's absolutely stunning and fits the theme of "Chrysalis" while still keeping a Kat Von D feel with the skulls in the wings but I'm a bit bummed it's made of a hard cardboard rather than the tin packaging from Kat's last palettes. It's definitely sturdy but it's not tin. The inside contains a nice long mirror on the top.

Kat Von D Chrysalis Palette

Although I prefer the shade's names be next to or underneath the actual shade, I'll take them being on the back of the packaging. Thank goodness they're not on a inlet on top of the palette that you lose within like, five minutes of opening.

  • Lifelike - a matte cream. A base shade. Super silky and butter soft. Incredibly pigmented for a light color.
  • Hybrid Moments - a matte deep purple. I'd say this is a burgundy-toned purple. Pigmentation was nice but was a bit drier than the other shades.
  • Mezzanine - a sparkle violet. Sparkly, indeed! This shade is a frost with some larger sparkles. Pigmentation was great and easy to work with with no fall out.
  • Transition - a pearl mauve. Quite possibly one of my favorite shades of the bunch. Super soft and easy to work with. Pigmentation was on point.
  • Lunar Lights - a pearl grey. A base shade. Ugh, another favorite! So buttery soft and lovely to work with. Pigmentation was amazing.
  • Glasswing - a matte caramel. The perfect crease shade for transitioning! The texture is super soft and buttery. Awesome color payoff.
  • Melancholia - a pearl silver. I'd describe this as more of a metallic pewter. Pigmentation was incredible and the texture was super soft and easy to work with.
  • Black Milk - a matte grey. Who doesn't need a beautiful matte grey? Pigmentation was fab, texture was awesome. I feel like I just need to copy and paste at this point. Ha!
  • Lucid - a sparkle rose. A base shade. I would describe it as a milky pink with subtle glitter. This shade was just alright for me. It was a bit powdery and seemed to disappear when I blended it out.
  • Graphic Nature - a pearl charcoal. Pigmentation was great but the texture was bit on the drier side.
  • Entombed - a pearl blue. I would describe this as more of a dark, cobalt blue pearl. I was so excited to see this shade but was a little disappointed with the texture. A bit dry and sheer when applied.
  • Tornay - a matte navy. Another gorgeous shade but came up a bit dry in texture. Pigmentation was great.
Swatches of: Lifelike, Hybrid Moments, Mezzanine and Transition

Swatches of: Lunar Lights, Glasswing, Melancholia and Black Milk

Swatches of: Lucid, Graphic Nature, Entombed and Tornay

Inner Corner: Lunar Lights | Inner Lid: Transition | Outer Lid: Graphic Nature | Outer V: Entombed | Lower Lid: Hybrid Moments into Entombed

Kat Von D Chrysalis Palette

Overall: I absolutely LOVE this palette and now I'm even more eager to tear into the other new Kat Von D palette - Monarch. It'll be up soon, I promise! Almost all the shades in this palette were absolute perfection to work with and the pigmentation is just out of this world. My favorite shades are Transition and Melancholia. I've heard the huge concern with this palette is just how to use it but I think there's so many different looks - for day and night - to create with this palette.

What are your thoughts on this palette?

Kat Von D Everlasting Love Lipstick in Mau5 - Swatches & Review

Hi babes! Not posting on Friday threw me all out of whack but I'm back again with Kat Von D's Everlasting Love Lipstick in Mau5

Kat Von D Everlasting Love Lipstick in Mau5

Mau5 is described as a deep raspberry. This is reminds me of Pantone's Radiant Orchid albeit slightly darker and maybe a tid bit more pink but gorgeous nonetheless.

The consistency is just like Bachelorette's: smooth, creamy and easy to apply. I didn't even think to try this but after playing with the applicator some more, I noticed if you line your lips with the edge of the applicator and then fill them in using the doe foot flat, it's even easier to apply. This formula is infused with vitamins A, C and E for hydration. This lipstick's finish is liquid to matte. For me, it wasn't super drying like some mattes can be but I've learnt my lesson and always exfoliate and moisturize before using a matte lipstick.

Wear time was insane and clocked in at about 6 hours before I noticed major fading. This included eating and drinking. I definitely have to hand it to Miss Von D; she knows how to make a lipstick last!

Kat Von D : Buy | Price: $19
* Currently, they're sold out online. I had better luck going to the store to buy them. I've heard that Kat Von D is relaunching them with new packaging July 24th.

Unlimited Talk Text and Data/Web with Walmart Family Mobile featuring the Nokia Lumia 521

Lowest Priced Unlimited Plans
My mom is always saying if she had a better smart phone with one of the cheap(est) wireless plans around, her life would be so much easier. Basically, she means if she got a new phone, she'd be able to communicate with her children without weird autocorrects and butt dials.

Walmart Best Plans

Cue Walmart Family Mobile at Walmart (where else?) where it's easy for her to pick out a phone she loves with no hassle. We liked that everything you need to purchase a phone is all in the same aisle right next to each other including a variety of different phones and starter kits to choose from. You can choose to activate your phone in store, on the phone or even online. My mom loves that Walmart has their own phone plans because she basically lives there anyway and can always go in and ask them questions if needed. I'm almost positive they greet her by name there.

Cheap(est) Wireless Plans

We recently gave the Nokia Lumia 521 (one of the many smart phone choices Walmart Family Mobile offers) a whirl and she absolutely loved it! She says her favorite part is the camera because all you have to do is touch the screen to take a picture. Yep, her favorite thing was taking pictures and not how often she calls and texts her children now because the plan includes unlimited talk and texting. My mother, ladies and gentlemen. Kidding, kidding. She also mentioned how easy it now was to text us pictures of her chihuahua as often as she liked without worrying about running out of minutes. Yay us.

Unlimited Talk Text and Data/Web
I wasn't kidding.

Walmart Family Mobile is the perfect Mother's Day gift for any mother. With a big variety of phone choices, ranging from the classic flip phone to a smartphone, your mom will totally find something her style. If the phone she wants isn't in stock or in-store, you can always order it online and have it shipped free to your store to pick up.

My favorite thing is that I don't need to worry about mom getting jip'd by secret hidden fees. You pay a set low price every month that includes unlimited talk text and data and can always cancel no questions asked, no cancellation fees. You can also connect add up to five additional lines at a super low price so you brothers and sisters can get weird pictures of chihuahas too. Joy for everyone.

Make sure to follow the hashtags #FamilyMobile and #CollectiveBias to see how others are using their phones for Mother's Day!

Baby Update | 20 Weeks!

I can't believe I'm already five months along. What started as dragging is starting to pick up into a mad dash. It'll be early September before I know - ahem. It's not even summer yet. I won't even say it. I'm not sure if we're on the ball or off but we have yet to register, check out cribs and strollers nor purchase anything that isn't clothes. Oops. We still have four more months, right?

So at my last doctor's appointment, I had high blood pressure for the third time in a row. Wah :( So my doctor has ordered me to stop drinking soda (I hate soda) and eating salty food (I love salt). I don't, however, really think it's salt that's giving me high blood pressure because even though I love it, I don't really eat that much of it. I'm thinking I have high blood pressure from stress. I'm a total worrier. Work, money, the new house, family - the list goes on and on. But I'm cutting out salt until my next appointment just in case. She wants to see me back in two weeks.

How far along? 20 weeks - half way there!
Total weight gain: 6 pounds
Maternity clothes? I think I might buy some more. They're so comfy!
Stretch marks? None. Hoping that stays until the end.
Sleep: Insomnia has definitely taken over. It's an early night if I fall asleep before 1AM.
Miss Anything? Sleeping normally. Also, laying on my stomach. I used to be able to up until last week. Now it feels like I'm laying on a weird rock.
Movement: YES! I'm almost 100% positive now I can feel him. He switches sides on where he lays. Ant also felt him.
Food cravings: Nothing crazy. Probably the same as last week. I could really go for a McDonalds Ranch BLT Chicken sandwich, fries and a Starbucks frapp. Don't judge me!
Anything making you queasy or sick: Nothing.
Gender: It's a boy! We had the anatomy scan on Monday and everything looks awesome and he's 100% boy!
Labor Signs: -------
Symptoms: --------
Belly Button in or out? In.
Wedding rings on or off? On but I noticed it gets a little tough to pull off sometimes.
Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy but extremely bitchy at times.
Looking forward to: Holding him. Ha! It's gone from finding out what the gender is, to making sure he's okay to now I just want to see him. I'll be waiting awhile :) Until then, I'm looking forward to shopping! Also, tomorrow we're going to a motocross event in NJ. Can't wait!

Famous Dave's Moisture Tan Dark with Bronzer - Review

Hi babes! I'm back again with a review on the Famous Dave's Moisture Tan in Dark! If you remember my last review on the Pro Series Nourishing Self Tanner Foam, I fell for this tanner HARD. It was absolutely amazing. Naturally, I tried the Moisture Tan in Dark with pretty high expectations! Let's check out how it measured up!

Famous Dave's Moisture Tan Dark with Bronzer

The Moisture Tan Dark with Bronzer is their best-selling "Moisture Tan formula" but kicked up a few notches for a darker overall tan. This formula includes instant bronzers (acting as a tan guard) to guide your way to perfection. This product is fragrance-free and paraben-free. This tanner also has Aloe Vera, Sesame and Jojoba to soften and moisturize your skin.

Famous Dave's Moisture Tan Dark with Bronzer

I always research before I even try out a product to see what past bloggers/customers ranted or raved about to make sure to focus on those points when reviewing. The two main complaints about this tanner was that it made you super orange and that the bottle arrived leaking.

Cleaned up but stained a little.

Upon arrival, I opened my package and noticed the tanner had leaked out of the bottle. Was it a little messy? Sure. But I just cleaned it right up and there was no harm done. So yes, my tanner leaked like many others did during shipping but no, I wasn't bothered by it. I read that a few contacted Dave and he offered them a new bottle and would talk to shipping. Personally, I don't think it's that huge of a deal and there was barely any product loss so I guess it's just up to the person receiving it.

The tanner's consistency is a nice, smooth light tan colored lotion. After exfoliating and all that jazz, I did notice that once applied and rubbed in, the light tan color in the lotion disappeared. I didn't notice any bronzers or any color whatsoever appearing on the skin to act as tan guard. Whomp whomp. Dry time was only a few minutes and I was able to pick my clothes on quickly and go about the rest of my day without this rubbing off on anything. I also want to note that sweet Moses! My skin felt SO soft and hydrated with this tanner on.

I read on the bottle that you should expect a nice tan within the 4 hour mark. Unfortunately, I didn't see much change at that time. My arm looked exactly like the "before" picture below so I didn't even bother taking another picture.

I ended up sleeping with the tanner on (usually how I do it anyway) and woke up with a nice light tan color. Emphasis on light. In comparison to the Pro Series Nourishing Self Tanner Foam, this is WAY lighter. With a name like Moisture Tan Dark, I expected a little bit darker of a tan so I felt a bit let down but I did read that this buildable so if you don't like the first layer of tan, you can apply as many times as you want to reach the color you'd like. Don't get me wrong, the light tan color was beautiful and natural-looking with absolutely no orange-yness in sight, I just expected a slightly darker color. This is definitely the most light tan I've ever received from a tanner. I'm interested to see if this is the dark formula what the regular formula looks like developed.

Pros:
- Dry time is fairly quick.
- Develops into a nice light, natural tan.
- Super duper moisturizing!
- Fragrance free.
- Buildable tan.

Cons:
- Slow develop time.
- No tan in 4 hours like promised on the bottle.
- No tan guard.
- Not dark like one would expect.

I'm kind of up in the air on this tanner. On one hand, I expected a much darker developed tan but on the other, received a light (albeit very gorgeous and natural) tan instead. This is hands down, the lightest tan I've ever received from a self-tanner but the tan is buildable; I just assumed it'd be darker from the start. I think I could recommend this to my uber pale chickies without the fear it would turn them super orange or create an unnatural tan on them. Would I recommend purchasing it? Yes and no. No, if you're looking for a right-off-the-bat dark tan. Yes, if you're looking for something that looks natural. What do you think about this tan?

Makeup Tutorial | Floral Values

When I received this Wet n Wild palette, Revlon PhotoReady Skinlights Illuminator and a few Revlon Colorbursts in this month's Rite Aid Network, I knew there was about to be a makeup tutorial going down. The colors are SO fun for spring time! Lord knows New England needs a hint that it's spring time. I'm talkin' to you, random snow and sleet last Wednesday morning. You are so on my list.

The Headliners: Wet N Wild Floral Values Palette, Revlon PhotoReady SkinLights in Pink Light and Revlon Colorburst Lacquer Balm in Whimsical and Matte Balm in Lovesick.

Also Used: Foundation - L'Oreal Magic Nude Liquid Foundation in Light Ivory | Concealer - MAC Prep + Prime Highlighter in Radiant Rose | Blush - MAC Melba | Bronzer - NARS Laguna | Eyelid Primer - NYX Eye Pencil in Milk | Gel Liner - Maybelline (??)

Eyes: I highly recommend using a white base with the Wet N Wild Floral Values Palette. On the lid, we started with the "Base" color. I popped the "Definer" shade into the crease and blended. I patted the "Eyelid" shade onto my lid. I decided to switch it up and used the "Crease" shade in my outter v. Lastly, I took the "Browbone" shade, wet it and applied it to the inner corner of my eyes. Cheeks: I used the Revlon PhotoReady SkinLights in Pink Light to highlight. I also used this down my nose and in my cupid's bow. Lips: First, I applied Revlon Colorburst Matte Balm in Lovesick and decided it needed a little more va-va-voom so I used Revlon Colorburst Lacquer Balm in Whimsical over it. I love the combo!

Unfortunately, most of the shades in the Wet N Wild Floral Values palette were incredibly sheer (not to mention chalky) so using white will give them a nice neutral base to pop off of. I also recommend patting, not spreading the shades on. The only redeeming shade was the "Base" shade which blended and applied perfectly. The Revlon PhotoReady SkinLights Illuminator was absolutely amazing! I love the subtle highlight it gave! Lastly, you all know this by now but I'm coo-coo over these Revlon Colorburst balms so naturally, I loved everything about them!

Would you rock pink/purple eyes? How much effort do you put into a product before you give up on it?

* These products were in my Rite Aid Network box. The box is sent to me from the company. My opinions are always 100% my own.

Rite Aid + Revlon's Your Story, Your Shade "Diamond Dee" & "Pretty In Strength" - Swatches, Review & Giveaway!

Hi loves! I recently received some amazing news I wanted to share right away. Rite Aid will be involved in the 2014 EIF Revlon Run/Walk in the New York (May 3rd) and Los Angeles (May 10th) events. As part of their support of EIF's mission to raise funds to fight women's cancers, Rite Aid recently worked with Revlon to develop the Rite Aid & Revlon's Your Story - Your Shade Contest where customers were encouraged to honor someone affected by women's cancer by entering their story and naming a shade on the Rite Aid's FB page. Two winners were selected and their winning shades are now being sold exclusively at Rite Aid until the end of May.

Their grand prize winner, Jill named her shade "Diamond Dee" after her mother. Here's her heart-touching story:

"In 2003, my Mom was diagnosed with cancer and I was 29 at the time. By the time they discovered it, the cancer had spread. I was with her every moment; she had overcome so much in her life! In the end she was full of love, always giving to those in need! Even today, I still use her saying, "If I have two and you have none, then you'll have hen one and I'll have one!" My mom's nickname when I was like girl was Diamond Dee! I miss her so and every day I strive to be even half the mother she was! She will always be my Diamond Dee."

Diamond Dee is a pearlescent pink.
Formula was nice and smooth but a bit sheer. About 3-4 coats will bring it up to full opacity. I really loved the darker pink pearlescent shimmer that camera naturally couldn't pick up (my camera and I totally got into a fight over this).

Pretty In Strength is a fun hot pink.
Formula was like working with butter - smooth, easy to apply and dare I say - a one coater! This color is so fun and bright. I expect to see this on a lot of nails come summer! This does dry slightly more red than the color in the bottle so keep that in mind.

Revlon Quicky Dry Top Coat | Quick Dry Base Coat
I've already used the Revlon Quick Dry Top Coat before. It does dry in about a minute to two minutes but honestly, it's no HK Girl. This is a great drugstore alternative though that really does dry fast. The Quick Dry Base Coat is fab. It goes on slightly milky and dries pretty fast as well. I haven't noticed any staining when I've used this as a base.

Speaking of staining, I wish I used that base coat over the weekend! My nails are currently stained a lovely shade of blue so unfortunately, I swatched on fake nails. I absolutely hate doing this but I wanted to show y'all the true colors rather than the color + a blue tint!

Swatches: Diamond Dee over Pretty In Strength | Diamond Dee | Pretty In Strength (slighty more pink in person)

Giveaway Time!

Revlon and Rite Aid were awesome enough to send over another package containing:
- Diamond Dee
- Pretty In Strength
- Quick Dry Base Coat
- Quick Dry Top Coat
for one of my readers to win!

To enter to win simply leave a comment letting me know who your hero is! April 29, 2014 I'll pick a winner!

Haul | MAC & Sephora VIB Sale!

It's pretty rare that I let myself splurge lately. With a house and baby on the way, there's a lot to save for. But with the past Sephora VIB sale, I had to take advantage of it and then suddenly, MAC came into play and it turned into a little shopping spree. It was awesome! My credit card on the other hand? Not feeling too awesome.

So when I opened up my Sephora box, this was on top. It's basically the rite of passage for beauty bloggers. I'm working on hitting the Sephora Rouge status. Let's not tell the fiance.

Andddd loads of samples!

So I didn't necessarily go completely crazy but I did decide to knock some things off my "wanted" list. A lot of these I plan on reviewing so I won't go into full detail on them :)

Laura Mercier Secret Brightening Powder | $30 - I can't remember who I heard about this from but I do remember her saying it "made her under eye area look blurred" and I was sold.

Tarte Amazonian Clay Waterproof Brow Mousse in Taupe | $28- I was so excited to try this out. Casey Holmes (itsbl0ndie on YouTube) recommended it and since we have the same color hair, I thought it'd work. Unfortunately, Taupe was too red for me so I took it back and all the other colors were sold out. Wah :(

NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer in Custard | $29 - Another recommendation from Miss Holmes! I'm obsessed with her. Can you tell? Anywho, this concealer is amazing but I had to take it back because it was too dark. I hope to snag it in a lighter color soon!

Pro Beauty Blender Duo | $28.95 - I plan on doing a review with a comparison to the TJ Maxx "Beauty Blender" with these!

Kat Von D Chrysalis and Monarch Palettes | $40 - Did you really think it'd be a full haul without some Kat Von D? I, like everyone, swooned over these palettes! I can't wait to review them for you all. Let me know which one you want to see first!

Lastly, from MAC. These were just stuff I had on my "wanted" list for forever and finally caved and got them. I decided to save some money and buy the Pro Palette and blush insert for like, $10 total. That way I could buy the pro pans for a little cheaper than normal.

MAC Melba Blush | $17 - Yup. I just got this. It's such a pretty color and I don't know why I waited so long. It's definitely my go-to blush right now.

MAC Sculpting Powder in Sculpt | $16.50 - Basically, I was looking for a nice matte brown to contour with and this was my answer to it. It's perfection! It's light enough to work with my light skin without going all orange-y on me but also works perfect when I'm tanned as well.

MAC Prep + Prime Highlighter in Radiant Rose | $25 - Talk about waiting forever for a product. I had this on my "wanted" list for a year now. It was well worth the wait! At first, I wasn't a fan of the pen style applicator but now I've gotten used to it. The color is gorgeous and is perfect for highlighting with my skintone.

MAC Please Me Lipstick | $16 - I'm still on the fence on this one. The swatches showed a much lighter lipstick but on me, it's super dark. It's gorgeous color, just not what I expected. I'll still play around with this and see if it grows on me.

MAC Angel | $16 - I ended up really liking this which is odd because I don't normally like frosty finishes. It works.

Swatches of: Please Me, Angel and Radiant Rose Highlighter

Phew! So that's my haul. I also have the Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Kit coming in this week as well. Let me know what you'd like to see a review of first :)

Baby Update | 19 Weeks!

19 weeks and so far, so good! Lately, I've been feeling pretty awesome and am back to that weird (but greatly appreciated) not feeling pregnant feeling. I still feel like I'm not showing that much but am in that weird chubby stage still. I'm part of a forum with all these mommies that are due the same month and they're all rockin' this awesome bumps and I'm like, "Meep. Not yet."

Wednesday night, I think I felt the baby move around. I'm still not 100% sure but it felt like bubbles. It only happened that once and I have yet to feel it again. I can't wait until he's moving constantly and Anthony can feel it too.

Recently, I signed up for Text4Baby which is basically a text message service that I found through Rite Aid that sends about three texts per week with tips and information for you while you're pregnant and then for your baby up until they're one.

How far along? 19 weeks (and three days)
Total weight gain: 5 pounds
Maternity clothes? I've been rockin' my maternity jeans cuffed when it's warmer and sticking to leggings when it's cooler. New England weather, yo.
Stretch marks? None. Hoping that stays until the end.
Sleep: Still having some weird insomnia at night but overall, pretty fantastic.
Miss Anything? Nothing really.
Movement: I wrote it above but I thought I, for sure, felt something Wednesday night but it's not consistent.
Food cravings: Starbucks Hazelnut Frapp and McDonalds. I've been dying for this!
Anything making you queasy or sick: Nothing.
Gender: It's a boy!
Labor Signs: -------
Symptoms: --------
Belly Button in or out? In.
Wedding rings on or off? On but I noticed it gets a little tough to pull off sometimes.
Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy!
Looking forward to: Anatomy scan today to 100% make sure it's a boy and to see how he's doing. I also can't wait to shop! Zara Baby is IN-SANE!

Ipsy | April Glam Bag!

Yay! It's Ipsy Glam Bag time! This month's theme is: Beauty Rocks - Life is a dance floor, so why not live it up, sing out loud, and shake them hips?! This month, we're celebrating our unique beauty to the sound of tunes and festivals that fill the spring air. So, whether you're chilling in a campground or spinning in a ballroom, all of your April "Beauty Rocks!" products will help your lovely look become a hit!

The Bag

So. Freakin'. Cute! I love that it's a bit longer (more makeup to put in it!) and bigger than other month's bags. The design is super cute and fits with the theme but is still trendy enough to use whenever. The nylon material makes it easy to clean if it's gets dirty. Overall, big win!

Dr. Brandt Microdermabrasion Skin Exfoliant
I was pretty excited to see this in my bag! I've been on a skincare kick lately and really can't get enough of it. Dr. Brandt's Microdermabrasion is supposed to gently sweep away dead skin cells, soften skin and lessen the appearance of marks, lines and discoloration. To use this, I rinsed my face with water and massaged this into my skin. After a few minutes, I rinsed and patted dry. I've only tried this once and while, I liked the scent (think margarita!), I think it's too soon to see results.

City Color White Gold Shadow and Highlighter Mousse
I sometimes think I can't read because I had no clue this was a cream! Here I am, handling it like it's a pigment and going to explode or something until I swatched it. It's super creamy and pigmented. It's a gorgeous color! This also is waterproof which is pretty awesome.

Demeter Roll On Perfume Oil in Jasmine
I'm a bit on the fence on this scent but I think I'm learning to like it. The scent is described as a warm, exotic, sweet floral bouquet. It's just a teensy bit on the strong side so don't marinade in it. The scent is right on for spring time.

Mary Kay at Play Jelly Gloss in Berry Me
I'm not a huge fan sticky lipglosses so I wasn't really wow'd by this. It was thick, sticky and a sheer wash of color while I prefer at least being opaque. Personally, it just wasn't for me.

Urban Decay 24/7 Velvet Glide-On Eye Pencil in Black Velvet
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (That's me screaming) I didn't even know this was an option this month but I'm so, so happy I got it. I'm so obsessed with these eye pencils from Urban Decay. It's so smooth and glides on like butter. They're perfect for smokey eyes because they're easy to smudge but can also hold their own.

Tokyo Milk Dark Lip Elixer in Vie En Rose
Every month, you have the option to use your Ipsy points on an extra goodie to be put in your next month's bag. I usually forget I even have points but I saw this lip balm I've always wanted to try and got it! I'm so, so happy I did! It's been a miracle worker on my lips. It keeps them smooth and supple. Not to mention is smells AMAZE-BALLS! Like lemons and roses or something. Love it!

Swatches of: Mary Kay Berry Me | City Color White Gold Shadow | UD Black Velvet | Dr. Brandt Microdermabrasion

Overall, I absolutely LOVED this bag! Almost everything is something I'd use (minus the Mary Kay lipgloss). The bag itself will definitely get a lot of use since it's much bigger than the normal Ipsy bag. My fave items would have to the Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil and the City Color White Gold Eye Shadow.

Not subscribed to Ipsy yet? What are you waiting for? For $10 a month, you'll get a bag filled with 4-5 deluxe-full sized beauty products at your door. Sign up here (referral link)!
