Woo! Here we go, ladies and gents - my first Valentine's Day look! I'm hoping to have a few more up in the next few days. It's been awhile since I've done a halo eye so naturally I did a halo eye to make up for lost time. 😝

Let's do this!

  • Okie dokie, guys! First things first, let's moisturize and prime. I like to do both at the same time with the Josie Maran Light Argan Oil. Someone help a babe out and let me know if there's anything even remotely similar out there because I'm almost out.
  • Next, I'm taking the L'Oreal Infalliable Pro Glow Foundation in the shade 202 and will apply this all over with a damp Jesse's Girl Beauty Sponge.
  • For concealer, I'll be using the ColourPop No Filter Concealer in the shade Light Neutral and, flipping the beauty sponge to the other side (the one with the "point"), will use it to blend this in.
  • I'm going to get going on my eyes before finishing my face and will take the MAC Paint Pot in Painterly as a base all over my lid and then let it set for a few seconds before going with my shadows.
  • From the ColourPop x My Little Pony Palette, I'm taking the shade Flutterbye with the ColourPop Tapered Blending Brush and blending that into my crease. This brush is really great at blending without a lot of effort (just the way I like it)!
  • Next, I'm taking the shade Minty and popping that into my outer v and the inner third of my eye lid (hopefully that makes sense) and blending the edges out.
  • With my middle finger, I'm taking the shade Blossom and dotting that into the middle of my lid. With a clean blending brush, I lightly blended Blossom into Minty.
  • With a pencil brush, I lined and blended the bottom lash line with Minty and Blossom in the middle. For the inner corner, I used the shade Bluebell.
  • For brows, I love using the ColourPop Brow Boss Pencil in Dark Brown. I think it's probably one of the most natural-looking pencils out there. It's pigmented enough to create hairs but still soft enough so it's not so in your face. For lashes, I used the L'Oreal Voluminous Lash Paradise Mascara which is, hands down, my fave mascara right now.
  • Moving back to the face...For bronzer, I've been using the Glamour Dolls Fakecation Bronzer. Guys, this pan is huge and is less than $6! It's insane!
  • For blush, I'm using ColourPop's Birthday Suit (it's such a beautiful pink!) and applying it to the cheeks with my fingers.
  • For highlighter, you guessed it! I'm using ColourPop's Pressed Powder Highlighter in Here Kitty Kitty. It's the prettiest light champagne shade.
  • Lastly for lips, I used ColourPop's Lippie Stix in Jingle Ladies although this look would be gorgeous with a nude lip as well.
