I'm not usually one to toot my own horn, but if I do say so myself, pink is probably one of my favorite colors to wear on my eyes because *ahem* I think it's flattering. Okay. I said it!

Let's do this!

  • Paula's Choice RESIST Moisture Renewal Oil Booster ($36) is the name, moisturizin' is the game. Technically, this is a booster (meant to be added to your moisturizer) but I've been using this by itself before I apply my makeup and -y'all- it's been amazing!
  • Moving onto foundation, I dotted the L'Oreal Infallible Pro Glow Foundation in 202 all over my face and blended it all in using a damp Jesse's Girl Beauty Sponge. The foundation and beauty sponge are the perfect combo! For concealer, I used the ColourPop No Filter Concealer in Light Neutral under my eyes and spot treated any blemishes with it and blended in with the same beauty sponge.
  • Moving on to the eyes, I first primed my lids using the MAC Paint Pot in Painterly as a neutral base. I feel this step is key in getting my hadow to stay in place and also helps with getting the most even and highest opacity from it.
  • I haven't used my ColourPop x Karruache She Palette in some time so I whipped that out for this look. In the crease, I used the shade Duchess. The ColourPop blending brush is honest to God, pretty darn amazing and blended it pretty effortlessly. I'm impressed with these brushes! For the lid, I used the CP medium shader brush and patted on the shade Gal. Next for the outer v, I used the shade Missy. For the bottom lash line, I used Missy and Gal mixed together. For the inner corner, I used Ladylike.
  • Finishing up the eyes, I used the L'Oreal Infallible Lash Paradise Mascara. For brows, I used the ColourPop Brow Boss Pencil in Dark Brown. This is my holy grail brow pencil, guys! It's super natural looking and soft. I love it.
  • Going back to the face. For bronzer, I used the Glamour Dolls Fakecation Bronzer. It's so good. It's a pretty neutral bronze and the pan is HUGE. For blush, I used tarte Cosmetics Amazonian Clay Blush in Exposed. For highlighter, Urban Decay Afterglow Highlighter in Sin, of course.
  • Lastly, for lips I used Kat Von D's Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in Lovesick. Lovesick is probably one of the best neutral pinks out there - especially for my pale babes. It doesn't pull orange like many do.

What's one thing you find flattering on yourself? Go on. Toot that horn!
