Style | Warm Weather Walks w/ PACT Organic

I received this product for free from Moms Meet (momsmeet.com), May Media Group LLC, who received it directly from the manufacturer. As a Moms Meet blogger, I agree to use this product and post my honest opinion on my blog. The opinions posted are my own.

The warm weather has finally made its way to New England and you better believe, we are soaking it up! I've been dragging the boys out every chance we get.

Sometimes it's tough because my oldest, Hunter, LOVES everything about the outdoors - the mud, the animals - everything. My youngest, Brody, on the other hand is too little to really understand the beauty of being outside and with his light eyes, they automatically get red-rimmed and he gets super fussy. It's a balancing act between wrangling Hunter in and keeping Brody happy but we manage!

You'll always find me in comfy sneakers and dark clothes that I can move around in when we go out because chances that at one point in the day out, I'll have to run after my crazy toddler or somehow I'll get some type of liquid on myself (coffee, spit up, boogers - pick your poison!) and need to camouflage that with dark clothing.

PACT Organic clothing is basically made for moms like me! They recently sent me a few items of clothing and I fell in love!  Their clothing is super soft - like, heaven! - and is made from organic cotton. They're also Fair Trade certified which makes me feel good knowing that no one was harmed or exposed to weird chemicals while manufacturing these clothes.

The leggings in the pictures below are actually SUPER long (I'm obsessed!). I cuffed them for the warm weather but I can't wait to rock these in the winter as well. The black hoodie jacket is super soft and lightweight and has cute thumbholes at the bottom. I'm also wearing, although you can't see it, PACT Organic's white camisole and black sports bra as well. The camisole has a built-in shelf bra which is amazinggggg and surprisingly sturdy. I usually find them to be pretty flimsy. I've also become a huge fan of this sports bra. It's lightweight but still has structure and is breastfeeding-friendly!

NARS Velvet Matte Lip Pencil Extensions for 2017 | Swatches + Review

Happy Saturday, babes! I'm so giddy over this review today, guys. I literally ooooh'd and awwww'd all over these babies when they arrived at my doorstep. They're the new NARS Velvet Matte Lip Pencils for 2017. They added ten new shades to their already amazing line-up (my old faves are Roman Holiday and Cruella) with some pretty tongue-in-cheek names.

  • Pussy Control - a lilac.
  • Let's Go Crazy - a vivid pink.
  • Endangered Red - an oxblood burgundy.
  • Get Off - a pink beige.
  • Intriguing - a rose pink.
  • Dirty Mind - a deep lilac.
  • Lonely Heart -a chocolate brown.
  • Unspoken - a midnight blue.
  • Famous Red - a bright pink coral.
  • Do Me Baby - a chestnut rose.
Swoon, swoon, swoon, am I right? I was going to go through these and review them one-by-one but honestly, they all performed the same with only one that I had "issues" with (I'll get to that in a second) but it ended up being my favorite of the bunch, so go figure.

 Wearing: Dirty Mind

Wearing: Do Me Baby

 Wearing: Endangered Red

Wearing: Famous Red

Wearing: Get Off

Wearing: Let's Go Crazy

 Wearing: Lonely Heart

Wearing: Pussy Control

Wearing: Unspoken

Wearing: Intriguing (slightly darker in this picture)
The lip pencil consistency is super smooth to work with. I specifically liked the shape of a lip pencil because it was angled enough that I was able to line my lips with it but still thick enough to fill them in. They're super pigmented minus Unspoken who I had to apply about two to three times to get a nice, even look. Honestly, I don't mind doing this because I fell in love with the color. I feel that when you have a dark color like that, that that'll happen. Once these lipsticks are on, they're almost a mix of satin and matte. You can still move your lips around without them smudging, cracking or bleeding.

My favorites: Unspoken, Do Me Baby, Lonely Heart

Beauty | Sephora Spring Sale Must-Haves!

"It's the mostttttt wonderful timeeeee of the year!" Ah, yes, ladies and gents. I'm talkin' about Sephora's Annual Spring VIB Sale! I know to many people, 15-10% off really isn't much but y'all. Makeup is expensive and I will take any discount possible I can get.

Below, I've put together my absolute beauty must-haves as well as some products I'll be snagging in the sale.

The Deets:

  • VIB Rouge - Your sale started  yesterday (4/18) but you still have time! The code: ROUGESPRING will get you 15% off your entire order!
  • VIB - Your sale starts today (4/19)! The code: VIBSPRING will get you 15% off as well (what's up with that, am I right?)
  • Beauty Insiders - Your sale starts tomorrow (4/20)! The code: BISPRING will get you 10% off.
(If you aren't signed up with the Sephora rewards program, you can sign up anytime to get the 10% off!)

The sale for everyone ends 4/24. You can use the code in-store as well as online as many times as you want. The code correlates with your account status so you cannot use the VIB Rouge code if you are a Beauty Insider, you little sneaks! ;)

On The List:

  • tarte Glow With The Faux Self-Tanner w/mitt ($39)
  • Sunday Riley Luna Sleeping Night Oil ($105)
  • Sunday Riley U.F.O. Ultra-Clarifying Face Oil ($80)

I feel like these sales are really great opportunities to snag luxury skincare at a discounted price. Case in point, I've been DYING to try out Sunday Riley but their Luna Sleeping Night Oil is $105 alone. The 10% I get with the sale saves me $10. Sure, it might not be a lot but it definitely helps this broke mama.

What's on your must-have list? What have you been dying to try?

OOTD | Earthy Tones w/ prAna

I received this product for free from Moms Meet (momsmeet.com), May Media Group LLC, who received it directly from the manufacturer. As a Moms Meet blogger, I agree to use this product and post my honest opinion on my blog. The opinions posted are my own.

Okay. I'd be the biggest liar if I said comfort wasn't my biggest priority when it comes to what I wear. Gone are the days of sliding myself into the tightest pair of jeans (and being super uncomfortable the entire night) and helllllllllo comfort. But comfy doesn't have to look messy!

I've partnered up with prAna (that's Sanskrit for breath, life and vitality of the spirit) to show you can juggle comfy with cute and be environmentally-conscious!

prAna is a company that started in 1992, making clothes for yoga and climbing. They soon realized that their clothing worked for other aspects of life and branched out to include new products with a "purpose" in mind! What I love about prAna is that they promote positive changes and use organic cotton and hemp in their clothing. Looking cute and promoting conservation? Yes please!

I'm wearing:
  • Liana Sweater ($79) - a wide neck, lightweight off-white sweater. The asymmetrical hemlines and diagonal print camos my post-baby bod without looking like I'm wearing a bag of potatoes. It comes in a variety of colors but I'm a huge fan of off-white as it goes with almost everything. The sleeves are slouchy and long which I love as well. Layer this over a tank top or even as a cover up for a bathing suit. * Made from organic cotton and hemp.
  • Mantra Pants ($75) - Helllllllo, new friend. These pants are everything. My fiance even said he likes them and that says something! I appreciate that these are mid-rise to, again, kind of hid my post-baby body but are still super comfy. I love the relaxed fit and found them super flattering! *Made from hemp, organic cotton and recycled polyester.
You can find prAna at your local REI or you can find the closest location by clicking here!

What do you wear when you want to be comfy but still look cute? Do you wear clothes that are environmentally-friendly?
