Is it too soon for a swimwear try-on? Probably but I couldn't help but share these super cute (and super affordable, to boot) two pieces I found at Walmart. I repeat. These are from Walmart. Yeah. Their line Time & Tru is killin' it lately and they've really amped up the No Boundaries line as well.

Let's talk about this fun, striped number! The top is No Boundaries ($7.88 - I'm trying to find it online but haven't spotted it yet) and can be worn as an off-the-shoulder top OR straps up. Personally, this mama needs alllllllll the help she can get in pulling this milk duds up so on the shoulders was the way to go for me. Padded but removable. I love the surprise floral print underneath it. The bottoms are Time & Tru ($16.88) - also available in plus sizes here - and are high waist which is all I needed to see to put them in my cart. I love the ties on the sides and the full coverage bottom. They add a little somethin' somethin' to it. Both the top and bottom run kind of small so I sized up in both to XL!

Moving onto this sweet floral print two piece! It's probably my fave out of the two. The top is No Boundaries ($7.88) and runs small - definitely size up. The knotted front is so simple and sweet and is the perfect top to go with just about any bottom. It comes padded but they're removable. I'm wearing an XL. The bottoms are Time & Tru ($16.88) and fit TTS. I love, love, love the tassels on the sides! The print is super flattering and the fit is comfy and full coverage on the backside.

Sizing up in these suits reminded me of something. Warm weather is coming and swimsuits are arriving in stores and I know that this can be a sucky time for women. I have had one too many cry sessions in a dressing room because I had to size up or I didn't like the fit of a swimsuit. Your size is just that - a silly number. It is never going to be accurate. It does not measure your worth. I am normally a size 12. I sized up to an XL which is a size 15/17. These sizes and numbers literally make no sense so PLEASE never beat yourself up over them. I'd rather size up, size down or be in a size that actually fits me than be a slave to a number I think I NEED to be and be so damn uncomfortable, y'know?
