Spring is here - kind of. I mean, it's still in the 40's here but apparently my mind has wishful thinking lately because I've been so inspired by bright "spring" colors!

Can I just say that while I think anyone can wear any color they want, how flattering is purple with brown eyes?!

Let's get this look!

  • Full disclosure that this look has been hiding in my drafts for a few weeks so I'm going solely by memory and some notes I made. Thanks, Somewhat Organized Noelle. I'm pretty sure I used the tarte Drink of H2O Hydrating Boost Moisturizer and then used a spritz of the Smashbox Primer Oil to prime my face.
  • For brows, I used my trusty ColourPop Brow Boss Pencil in Dark Brown and, with light hair-like strokes, filled in my brows.
  • For foundation, I used the L'Oreal Infallible Pro Glow Foundation in 202 with a damp Beauty Blender and, after dotting the foundation on my face, lightly dabbed the blender on my face to blend it all in. For concealer, I used the ColourPop No Filter Concealer in Light Neutral and used the opposite end of the BeautyBlender to blend it in.
  • For eyes, I like to prime my lids with MAC Paint Pot in Painterly. It's a cream shadow that's basically my skin color. I like to use it to neutralize the lid and cancel out all my veins, discoloration, etc. Once that's dried down, I took my handy dandy ColourPop x My Little Pony Palette and, with the ColourPop medium shader brush, patted Skydancer onto the lid. Next, I took Twilight and with the ColourPop pencil brush, popped that into my outer v. For the crease, I used Flutterby very lightly. For the lower lash line, I used Skydancer again. For the cat eye, I wanted a fun color so I took ColourPop Liquid Matte Lipstick in the shade Lychee. I used a thin, angled brush, dipped it into the wand and created the cat eye. To finish the look, I used L'Oreal Lash Paradise Mascara.
  • Lastly, for lips, I used ColourPop Liquid Matte Lipstick in Lychee and patted Skydancer on top, towards the middle.

And there you have it, ladies and gents! See you next time! :)
