With Thanksgiving just a few short weeks away, I had to get up this super quick and easy holiday makeup tutorial! Quick and easy is the name of the game here. Truthfully, I don't have much time for myself on the holidays. I'm normally getting the boys ready, making sure Ant is getting ready (everyone meet my third child - ha!) and then waiting until the last minute to get myself ready.

I'm also really excited I got to use the ColourPop Truly, Madly, Deeply Palette ($23)! Not only is the price point awesome but I can't say enough amazing things about how gorgeous it is!

HOW TO:

1. I have the oiliest lids, so I always need to prep my lids with a base of some sort, otherwise my eyeshadow will crease and sheer out within minutes. I love using MAC Paint Pot in the shade Painterly ($22). I lightly pat this on my lid and then let it dry before apply my shadows. 2. With a fluffy crease brush, pop Made To Last from the Truly, Madly, Deeply Palette into your crease, in a windshield wiper motion.

3. Next, taking a small shader brush, lightly pat Jackpot into the outer/middle part of the lid but leave the inner part of the lid naked. 4. Let's deepen that outer v with a pencil brush (it's a smaller, more densely packed brush in a circle form) and the shade Two Much!

5. We're almost done! Glitter normally freaks me out near my eye area. I'm not going to lie to ya'll. BUT, the Indio shade from the palette is gorgeous and adheres pretty well when pressed into the lid with a clean finger. If you're super freaky about glitter moving around on your eye, you can use a glitter adhesive/primer like this one from NYX ($6.50)! Go ahead and clean up any excess glitte that has fallen out. 6. For the lower lid, I used the shade Pretty Cruel and lightly blended out the edges. I finished this look with a coat of L'Oreal Voluminous Lash Primer + L'Oreal Voluminous Lash Paradise Mascara.
