There is just something about a chocolate chip cookie that I can't resist. Homemade is always best but I truly cannot get enough of Tollhouse cookies. They bring back so many memories of when I was little! I was so excited to find these spring edition cookies because they were dye-free and not too many of the fun, festive seasonal cookies are. High-five, Tollhouse!

SPRING CHOCOLATE DIPPED CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES

There's no reinventing the wheel here but adding a little somethin' special to a quickie dessert always takes it to the next level. In fact, for these cookies, you're going to follow the directions on the back of the cookie dough package. Preheat oven to 350, blah, blah, blah.

For the chocolate dip part, take a cup of chocolate chip cookies (we used dark chocolate but feel free to use whatever you want - white, semi-sweet, etc), pour them into a bowl and pop them into the microwave for 30 second intervals. Stir until melted and smooth.

Let the chocolate chip cookies fully cool before dipping them into the chocolate and laying them onto parchment paper. You can speed up the process of the chocolate hardening by popping them into the freezer for a few minutes.
