I'm pretty sure this DIY Bandana American Flag won us a decorating contest! This project is easy in terms of supplies (it's just bandanas and some time) but it's quite tedious (babe, you're hand-tying each one). 

In retrospect, you can probably cut down on some time by hot gluing them together but I'm not sure it'll give you the same look as being knotted. I'll meet you under the cut to show you how!
