Every once in awhile in a girl's life, she may stumble onto (or in my case, be sent) a holy grail of something - whether it be a skirt that automatically sheds 10 pounds off of you, a skin cream you swear erases wrinkles or the perfect fake tan lotion and she'll share (or sometimes not) with her group of friends over iced lattes. Everyone, grab your iced lattes because I think I've found the holy grail of something and well, I'm a sharing-is-caring type of girl!

Raise your hand if you've ever wanted to shave off 20 minutes of your morning routine and have super silky straight hair with no frizz or fly aways! Yeah, me too. Let me introduce you to my little secret weapon that FlatIronExperts.com was so nice enough to send me. I keep petting my hair like I'm Kim Kardashian or something - it's so silky and smooth!

Avanti Wet-Dry Nano-Titanium Ceramic Silver Digital Flat Iron
I'm in love! I want to shout it from the roof tops! So in love that I've thrown out my other straightener and the only reason I've kept my blow dryer is for when I curl my hair.  Yeah, that in love. Why, may you ask?
  • First and foremost, you can use this with your hair being wet. How awesome is that? Towel dry your hair, spray on some heat protectant and your hair is ready to be straightened. No need to blow dry because this thing straightens and dries your hair at the same time!
  • It's light! I don't know how many times my arm has actually gotten tired in the middle of me straightening my hair with my old one. This straightener clocks in at .88 pounds.
  • It has an adjustable digital thermometer so you know exactly how hot it is at all times and maxes out at 450 degrees F.
  • It's hot in 30 seconds. You read that right. By the time you turn it on (which it lets you know with a cute little noise) and rub in your moisturizer, it's hot and ready!
  • My hair has never ever felt this healthy and silky and has never been so shiny.

It's ceramic plated for a quick heat up, smooth glide and a fast cool down.

I love that it has a digital thermometer!

Nano Titanium / Ceramic Technology: Avanti WD-AVCROC distributes heat evenly across the entire surface, retains heat more efficiently, and eliminates damaging hot spots. Ceramic emits a natural source of negative ions and far infrared heat that helps your hair
1. Preserve more moisture within the hair shaft
2. Eliminates frizz and close the cuticle to create smooth and shiny hair
3. Causes less damage to the hair cuticle during styling
Nano-Silver: Silver ions and silver compounds have a toxic effect on some bacteria, viruses, algae and fungi. Its germicidal effects kill many microbial organisms. Silver also has the lowest contact resistance of any metal, reducing friction for gentler styling
Negative Ion Technology: Negative ions are atoms that can stop the growth of bacteria, fungi, etc., resulting in healthier hair and scalp. Negative ion energy is powerful enough to break apart clusters of water molecules. The smaller water molecules penetrate into the hair shaft by slipping between the cuticles, adding plumpness/volume to hair. The bombardment of negative ions also closes the hair cuticle, which is very good for the health and appearance of the hair. - From FlatIronExperts.com

KQC Thermal Shine Spray  - LOVE this stuff! My hair is so incredibly shiny and looks so healthy. Coming from the girl who had the dullest hair ever, this stuff is a miracle in a bottle! I do have a "con" to this as this spray smells like straight up aerosol. It doesn't really bother me considering how amazing it is though.

Flat Iron Experts straightener holder - Another awesome product! I feel like everyone girl should have one of these. You can put your straightener in this holder while it's still hot! It has suction cups on the bottom which is cool. I suctioned mine to the mirror but you can also suction it to the counter.

A before and after! Left shows my hair damp and curly and right shows my hair dry and straight!
