Hi everyone! Have you ever felt like you found out about something cool before everyone else? That's me right now. On the blog tonight are swatches and a review from an up-and-coming indie line called A Girl Obsessed!
A.G.O., Fae and Monarch Butterfly
Fae is a clear base with pale pink, green and turquoise hexes.
This is one coat of Fae over Barry M.'s Mint Green. Super smooth application if just a little bit thick. Personally, I had no issues with it but I know some people freak if it's a little on the thick side. That being said, I didn't need a top coat because of the thickness.
A.G.O. is a clear base with neon pink hexes, black diamonds and various white squares, hexes and bars of various sizes.
This is one coat over China Glaze Platinum. I had mixed feelings about this polish. The good? I love, love, LOVE the neon pink hexes. To me, it just screams summer. The bad? For whatever reason, I had a hard time fishing out the black diamonds and all that good stuff. Bummer :( I think it was just the mini size bottle shape. The formula was good except on my middle finger, it pulled and wrinkled.
Monarch Butterfly is a clear base with yellow, black, orange and white hexes with holographic butterflies strewn in.
This polish right here! This is one coat over Wet N' Wild 2% Milk. Gorgeous. Absolutely amazing. Formula and application was perfect and I didn't have to fight to get the little butterflies out.
Overall: Love 'em! I think you'll definitely be hearing about A Girl Obsessed's shop selling out fast. My favorite was Fae, for sure! It's the most perfect spring polish.

Monarch Butterfly is awesome. I love the unique combination of glitter :)
ReplyDeleteYep, its the mini bottles!! I get that, too. I usually take a toothpick and swirl my minis around before application to get all the good stuff off the sides :)
