So I know I haven't been doing this every week like I would've liked to but to be honest, everything has kind of been chill and there really hasn't been much to talk about. If that makes sense while making a baby. I feel fantastic which is nice and I hope it stays like this. I still don't think I'm showing much. I just feel chubby.

At 17 weeks, the baby the size of a turnip (about 5 inches) and finally getting some baby fat. The heart beat is now regulated by its brain to beat 140-150 beats per minute. It's also practicing sucking and swallowing!


How far along? 17 weeks | 3 Days (picture is from 17w1d)
Total weight gain: Three pounds.
Maternity clothes? I caved and went crazy at Old Navy! Bought two pairs of maternity jeans, tanks and tops. Ahhhh. It feels so nice to be wearing comfy clothes. Also, I've been doing the hair band trick where you weave it in between the button and the button hole on your normal jeans so it'll give you some space to breath.
Stretch marks? None. Hoping that stays until the end.
Sleep: Consistent. Can't fall asleep until midnight and then at 5:40 every morning, I get up to pee. I'll take it.
Miss Anything? I still miss having clear skin. That major break out that I had a few weeks ago is still hanging out although it's not as bad. I also miss not being so easily aggravated. 
Movement: Not yet but any day now!
Food cravings: Pierogies and ice cream. Not together.
Anything making you queasy or sick: Thankfully, I've got my appetite back! Right now, nothing makes me sick.
Gender: We ended up finding out the gender on Saturday! We're doing a gender reveal with our families and then I can share! :)

Belly Button in or out? In.
Wedding rings on or off? On.
Happy or Moody most of the time: I feel stressed lately. Which is NOT good. I also feel moody sometimes.
Looking forward to: The anatomy scan on the 21st to make sure the gender is 100% correct and shopping for the baby!
