Hey dolls! A little while ago, I was given the chance to make my own bath soak from the folks at The Bathory!

At this site, you can choose what kind of bath you want from three options: bask, soothe or detox. Bask is packed with three luxurious salts, soothe is made with honey, buttermilk and oatmeal and detox is made with pure epsom salt and Rhassoul clay to draw out toxins. Your girl went with "soothe" because my skin always tends to be a little on the dry side so I'm always looking for hydrating stuff to use on my body.

Once you've chosen what type of bath you want, you get to choose three oils to add to your bath. I love that when you click to find out more info on the oil, it shows you what it smells like, what other oils it goes with and how it makes you feel. How cool is that? I chose lemon, sandalwood and ylang ylang.

Lemon is powerfully antibacterial, stimulating and focusing and Lord knows I need that. I feel like when I gave birth to Hunter, I also gave birth to about half of my brain cells and can't focus for crap. I also chose Sandalwood which is supposed to be calming and is an aphrodisiac (HA HA HA HA. I'm dying.) Lastly, I picked Ylang Ylang which is another aphrodisiac (I swear, I didn't pick it for this purpose!) and is supposed to make you feel happy.

Guys, can I just start off by saying don't pick these three together. The scent was just NOT working for me at all. But that's my fault. Total blogger error. So keep that in the back of your head. It wasn't horrible but I'm sure they were better options to combine.
This is too cute!

I used about 1/3 with my bath and felt that was enough. The consistency of the soak is that of a thick, gritty powder. After I sprinkled it into the tub, I swished the water around to dissolve it all. Once I got out and dried off, I noticed that my skin felt nice and soft. The scent was there but wasn't too overpowering (thank God!).

Overall: I love the idea of making your own bath soak but just be aware of scents/oils you put together. The packing is super adorbs and I think you could get about three-four baths out of this (depending how much you use each time)! I definitely recommend trying this out!

What oils would you put together?
