I'm pretty sure every time I do a review or look with ColourPop, there's always a new product or something launching. Case in point, yesterday they launched two new palettes as well as seven new eye brushes. Swoooooon, swoon, swoon.

But for now, let's talk about their second latest big launch: the ColourPop x My Little Pony Collab!

The My Little Pony Palette is from a big collaboration done with ColourPop to celebrate the new release of The My Little Pony Movie. The entire collection includes:
  • My Little Pony Palette - a 12 pan pressed powder eyeshadow palette ($16)
  • My Little Pony Makeup Bag - a large metallic bag featuring Princess Sparkle on the zipper ($18)
  • My Little Pony Brush Set - five mini brushes plus a brush case ($22)
  • Pressed Powder Highlighters: Trickles - a lavender with pink opal duochrome flip and Starflower - a peachy gold ($8 each)
  • Ultra Glossy Lips: Flutter Valley (a golden undertone with tons of hot pink and gold glitter), Dream Castle (a metallic fuchsia with blue, violet and gold glitter) and Ponyland (a lilac with pink and gold glitter) ($6 each)
  • Ultra Matte Lips: Pin Wheel (a vibrant cool toned fuchsia), Lemon Drop (a bright cool-toned lavender) and Moondancer (a blackened plum) ($6 each)
  • Super Shock Shadows: Cherries Jubilee (an opalescent pink with hot pink glitter), Sunbeam (a pastel lavender with violet, hot pink and ice blue glitter) and Posey (a soft pinky beige with silver, gold and pink glitter) ($5 each)

The My Little Pony Palette ($16) is a 12 pressed powder eyeshadow palette inspired by the colorful, retro ponies we all know and love from the 80's. This palette contains six metallics, one opalescent sheen, two satins and three mattes. Oh my goodness, you guys. This is such a fun mix of colors! I hesitated buying this at first because I wasn't sure what looks I could really create but the possibilities are endless.

  • Butterscotch - a white with subtle pink violet opalescent sheen
  • Blossom - a metallic peach with a pink and gold duochrome finish
  • Starshine - a metallic golden tangerine
  • Bluebell - a satin golden ivory
  • Applejack - a matte dusty red violet
  • Skydancer - a metallic bright icy lavender
  • Minty - a matte cool toned fuchsia
  • Flutterbye - a matte true pastel peach
  • Twilight - a satin deep blackened violet
  • Firefly - a metallic silvery baby blue
  • Snuzzle - a metallic icy white with opalescent blue duochrome
  • Princess Sparkle - a metallic rich smokey turquoise
These shades remind me of a rainbow sorbet in all of it's yumminess. I'm happy to report that the quality of these shades are fabulous. The mattes deliver pigmentation with one swipe of the brush without chalkiness. The metallics are servin' smooth butteriness when applied to the lid. Butterscotch, which is described as a white with opalescent sheen is slightly sheer but builds up easily and looks gorgeous patted gently on top of a darker color.

My favorite shades from this palette are: Starshine, Applejack, Flutterbye and Princess Sparkle.
