Happy Friday night, everyone! Before we get into tonight's post, I just wanted to quickly update and let everyone know that the Mega Beauty Blog Hop Giveaway prize winners are being contacted (if they haven't already).

Also, I kind of touched on this on my latest IG post but wanted to talk about it here as well. For the past few months, I've been going back and forth about what kind of blogger I want to be. Am I strictly beauty? Or am I mommy? Lifestyle? Or am I all of it? It's been confusing (I'm sure for you, too). I was told multiple times by different companies and people that I'm "too beauty" to be a mommy blogger and "too mommy" to be a beauty blogger and for the longest time, I thought, "That means I can only be one kind of blogger so I guess I better pick one." But I love creating makeup looks just as much as I love reviewing strollers.

So, with that, I'm announcing that while sure, there might be a lot of beauty content on here, I will be adding mommy and lifestyle content back in because it's something I enjoy. Yay!

How To Get This Look:

  • New England weather has been nuts lately, dabbling between 40 degree weather to the 70's and back. It's wrecked havoc on my skin and dried it out like the Sahara. I've been using the Paula's Choice Resist Moisture Renewal Oil Booster to moisturize my skin before applying my makeup and it's been amazing.
  • Next, I took the L'Oreal Pro Glow Foundation in the shade 201 Classic Ivory and applied it with a damp Jesse's Girl Beauty Sponge. For concealer, I used the ColourPop No Filter Concealer in Light Neutral.
  • For bronzer, I used my favorite Urban Decay Beached Bronzer in Bronzed. I used to think it was too dark for my skintone but with a light hand, it gives me the most realistic tan. For blush, I used the tarte Amazonian Clay Blush in Exposed. Lastly, for highlighter, I used Run The World from the ittse x Love For Lacquer Glambition Quad.

  • For eyes, I wanted to do a fun metallic-y galaxy look. For this look, I used the MAC Paint Pot in Painterly for a nice, neutral base. For the crease, I used Makeup Geek Petal Pusher. Next, I used Makeup Geek Time Travel on the outer v and lower lash line. Lastly, I patted Fancy Face from ColourPop's I Think I Love You Palette on the lid. For the inner corner, I used Run The World Highlighter from the ittse x Love For Lacquer Glambition Quad.
  • For a fun lip, I used the wet n wild Liquid Catsuit in Sea Seduction. Why didn't anyone tell me about these? They are AMAZING. I need them all!
