Happy Monday, everyone! I hope y'all had a safe St. Patrick's Day, if you celebrate. We do so I definitely ate my share of corned beef. Yummmm. Anyway. So, guys. Anyone spring cleaning yet? I know it's not officially spring but I've been trying to clean up my makeup collection by going through all of it and either throwing things out that have expired/will never use or trying diving back into older products and bringing them out to play again. Like, for today's look I used the Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette. I don't even know why I stopped using it in the first place because it's insanely gorgeous! Let's check it out.
- You guys would be proud to know that I switched up my foundation today and went for Urban Decay Naked Skin One and Done in Medium. This used to be one of my absolute favorite favorites. It's so lightweight and creates a nice "filtered" look without a lot of product used. I'll probably bring this out more in the summer.
- For concealing (because this chick has needed out after this latest skin freak out), I used ColourPop's No Filter Concealer in Light Neutral. If you're looking for a high coverage concealer under $6 - this is it, ya'll. I don't think I'll ever use another concealer. It's just that dang good.
- Apparently, today with an Urban Decay kind of day because for bronzer, I used their Beached Bronzer in Bronzed and their Afterglow Highlighter in Sin. For blush, I used benefit's Coralista Blush. I don't think I own any Urban Decay blushes! Any recommendations?
- Moving onto eyes, I like to do my brows before anything. I think it kind of sets that stage that is my eyelids. 👀 I've been using the ColourPop Brow Boss Pencil in Dark Brown but it broke literally right after I did my makeup. Devastation, y'all, dev-ah-station. I ordered two more today but they won't be in for awhile so if you guys have any recommendations for a brow pencil I can pick up in store, let a chickie know.
- Onto zee eyes, I started with Urban Decay Naked 2's shade Tease and popped that into my crease. For the lid, I mixed Suspect and YDK. Okay. Actually, I put Suspect on, totally forgot and then put YDK on over it. But it totally worked out. For the outer v, I used Black Out to give the lid a little depth. I also took Black Out on an eyeliner brush and used it as an eyeliner on the top lid. I think I might start doing that more! For the lower lash line, I used Busted. Inner corner is Booty Call which is one of the prettiest highlight shades. I remember even thinking that back when I first bought it a few years ago. To finish the look off, I used L'Oreal Lash Paradise Mascara.
- For lips, I used the Glamour Dolls Gloss Snob 3.0 in Extra. Again, I'm not normally a big gloss fan but whooooooa. I think Glamour Dolls has totally switched me over to the dark side!
