Style | Celebrating The Mom Bod w/ Universal Thread

Happy International Women's Day! This post was supposed to be just an ordinary style post but I feel like it's a little extra special on this day. Style posts are a little out of my comfort zone as I'm not that typical body that alllll the clothes look great on. But today I'm celebrating it. It's my body, that birthed two children (and okay, maybe ate like, wayyyy too many pizza slices) and I'm okay with it. That's me. Look, my body is a longggggg ways away from being what it used to be, and I'm okay with being a work in progress but finding clothes that fit this bod has been super tough in the mean time.

I recently discovered Universal Thread at Target (thanks, mom!) and I'm in love with the way their clothes fit. So much so, that once I popped their jeans on, I knew I had to do a blog post about them in the hopes that anyone looking for quality clothing for a good price point will see this and go, "Oh, hey!"

I'm so obsessed with this line, guys. Let's talk about the jeans. I chose the highwaisted button-ups because I need allllll the help I can get in keeping this belly in. They're stretchy yet still structured where, at the end of the day, you're not losing the shape and pulling your pants up, y'know? They have SO many denim choices to choose from (bootcut, skinny, jeggings, etc.) and cater to every size  up to 26W. Bonus points? All jeans are $30 and under. YESSSS!

I also grabbed a few of their soft tees! They were $8 each (total steal) and are so dang soft. They get softer and cozier every time I wash them. I linked them down below (first picture) but also linked some other cute tops they have. Again, everything (minus the jacket) is under $30.

On top of making some of the comfiest clothes, Universal Thread has also come out with shoes, jewelry and more! The first pair linked below I am DYING for but they're not available at my store nor to be shipped to my store. Whomp, whomp. How cute are they!?

Have you tried out the Universal Thread line from Target?
