Well, whether you've never been to one, go all the time, or it's your first time, this post is for you! I'm so excited to announce that myself and a few gorgeous beauty bloggin' babes have come together to serve you a few different festival looks today!
Let's do this!
Before the tutorial, I filled in my brows with the ColourPop Brow Boss Pencil in Dark Brown for a bold, straight-browed look and I also moisturized my face with the Paula's Choice RESIST Booster Oil. Moving on!
- I always like to prime my lids! My lids are bit oily so if I don't, my eyeshadow tends to crease and move around. I also like priming them to help neutralize the lid and give myself a nice, blank canvas to work with. I used ColourPop's No Filter Concealer in Light Neutral.
- With a fluffy brush, I took the shade Snuzzle from the ColourPop x My Little Pony Palette and applied that into the 1/3 of my crease.
- With that same fluffy brush, I took the shade Firefly from the same palette and blended that into the middle of my crease.
- With the same brush, I took the shade Princess Sparkle from the palette and popped that into the outer v (creating an actual "<" with my brush).
- I wanted a fun color for my liner so I went with Tarte's Clay Pot Waterproof Eyeliner in Unicorn Kisses.
- Lastly, I used the shade Skydancer from the same palette on my lower lash line and blended it out.
Moving onto the rest of the face - I dotted L'Oreal Infallible Pro Glow Foundation in 202 all over my face and then blended it all in with a damp Beauty Blender. I've been using this foundation for a long time now and have yet to find another foundation that gives off this beautiful, glowy look it gives. I'm obsessed!
To conceal under my eyes, I used the ColourPop No Filter Concealer in Light Neutral and then blended down and out with the pointy side of my Beauty Blender.
For contour and highlight under my cheekbones, I used the Smashbox Master Class 3 Palette. I used to be so obsessed with the contour from there and while it's discontinued now, I'm pretty sure the same one is in their newly released Cali Contour Palette. For bronzer, I used Urban Decay's Beached Bronzer in Bronzed. I realize the picture makes it look a bit orange-y but it's a gorgeous sunkissed tan with a light hand.
For highlight, I used Nuest Jelly Highlighter in Twinkle Star and gently patted it on with my damp Beauty Blender. Twinkle Star is a gorgeous iridescent purple/pink/blue with a jelly consistency. I've really been loving it! PS. It does NOT budge! Like, holy cow.
Almost done! I wanted a fun, dark lip for this look so I went with Maybelline's Super Stay Matte Ink in Huntress. I was a little late to the Matte Ink bus but I'm staying on because they're pretty amazing! My mom swears by Lover and I'm diggin' Huntress. It goes nice and opaque and, while it takes a few minutes to set, it lasts FOREVER. Over Huntress, I patted on a little of the Nuest Jelly Highlighter in Twinkle Star and Firefly from the MLP Palette.
This part is totally optional but I wanted to add a few flower petals somewhere in this makeup and went with adding it under my eyes. I used a white face paint and created "rough" tear drops, but you could use white liquid eyeliner for longer lasting power.
I LOVEEE the colors you picked for this, and I love that you showed a step by step!! Killer babe!!!
