It's about dang time, huh guys? There has just been SO much going on lately. We have a billion projects going on at the house right now. I've teased you guys on my IG stories with one in particular that I'm super excited to share. I'm hoping to be able to show you guys the whole thing soon - not because I like teasin' you guys but because it's still in like, actual pieces 😂 Anywho, back to this look! I recorded this whole look in my IG Stories highlights under GRWM if you want to check this look out in action and also see how awkward I am IRL.
How To Get This Look.
- Alright ladies and gents. Let's do this! First things first, apply a moisturizing primer. I've been using (as I'm sure you guys know) facial oils as a moisturizer AND primer because my face is cool with it. I let it soak in for a few minutes before applying anything over it.
- Next, I took my L'Oreal Infallible Pro Glow Foundation in 202 and applied this all over my face with a damp Beauty Blender.
- Moving onto eyes (we'll get back to the face later!), I primed my lids with the ColourPop No Filter Concealer in Light Neutral. In retrospect, this didn't really work as well priming my lids as the MAC Paint Pot in Painterly (what I normally use) works. Meh. You live and learn, right? For brow, I quickly went in with the ColourPop Brow Boss Pencil in Dark Brown and filled in any sparse areas.
- Once the primer has set, I went in with ColourPop's Wait For It in the crease and applied with a fluffy crease brush. I also applied this on my lower lash line. Next, I took a medium shader brush and patted ColourPop's Tiki onto the lid. For the outer v, I used Champs from the ColourPop Yes Please Palette.
- For liner, I used tarte's Unicorn Kisses Gel Liner. I LOVE their gel liners, guys. They're SO smooth to work with. Quick note: If, at any time, you mess up your liner, wait for it to dry a little and then use a thin brush and some concealer to clean it up. This trick has been a lifesaver!
- I finished up the look with the L'Oreal Infallible Lash Paradise Mascara (my absolute fave and a Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara dupe!).
- Going back to the face, I concealed with the ColourPop No Filter Concealer in Light Neutral (naturally), bronzed with Physician's Formula Butter Bronzer in Bronzer and used their blush in Natural Glow as well. For highlighter, I used Gwen from the Macy and Mia The Spotlight Palette (you can find my review and swatches here).
- Lastly, for the lips I used a mix of Stila Stay All Day Liquid Lipstick in Rosa and Macy and Mia Char Lipgloss.
