My latest newbie adventure has been into skincare. I think this makes me an adult now. Kidding, kidding. I think it's always good to use skincare products. Whether you're preventing damage or fixing it, there's so much to chose from and can leave a girl feeling dizzy.

Reviva Labs was nice enough to ease me into the skincare world and sent me one of their products about a month ago. Before even saying yes, I researched them and almost every single review I came across was extremely positive. Sign me up, baby! 

I chose the Alpha Lipoic Acid, Vitamin C Ester & DMAE Cream which is used to firm, tighten and lift your skin. Sounds right up my alley because mama is starting to sag in places she shouldn't be. The Alpha Lipoic Acid is an antioxidant that fights those free radicals and also aids in the body's reproduction of Vitamin C. It also reduces the appearance of puffiness and decreases the appearance of wrinkles.Vitamin C Ester helps repair past damage to your skin all the while promoting new collagen production. DMAE ("Facelift in a jar") helps firm and tighten your skin. All three of these are encased in soy liposome for a deeper, time release action during the night.

The cream is pretty semi-thick consistency but goes on feeling light on the skin. There's no scent. Every night, I applied a good amount to my face and neck. Within seconds of drying, your skin gets that nice tightening feeling. I like it. I'm weird. I also used this during the day with a less amount as a moisturizer.

So does it really work? I'm going to go with a subtle yes. There's this weird part under my chin connecting to my neck that I absolutely can't stand. It just looks loose. I don't know how to describe it. Using this, I've noticed a subtle difference and it looks tighter. I also feel like my skin on my face looks and feels tighter. Overall, I'd definitely say this is worth a try! I'm actually going to pass this onto my mom and see if she gets great results as well.
