* Thank you so much for the box of Lancôme goodies, Rakuten Affiliate Network! Affiliate links used. #RANBonusBox

I am so utterly excited to share with you all this sweet little goodie box from Rakuten Affiliate Network I received. Every once in awhile, RAN sends out a boxes filled with products to a few select bloggers that use their network (I use them for affiliate links) and I was one of the lucky ones to receive this one for Lancôme! I wanted to disclose this because well, duh, of course but also because I know I talk a lot about deals and whatnot and truth be told, there is no way I'd be able to afford Lancôme.

Because Lancôme is at a higher price point than many (if not most) of the products I talk about on the blog, I wanted to use this opportunity to share with you which products of the bunch are totally worth the splurge and which ones you can pass on!

Lancôme Advanced Génifique Youth Activating Concentrate ($105) - You guys already know by now that serums are my jam! This serum is a little different than anything else I've ever tried as it's supposed to be fast-acting - yes, please! This anti-aging serum contains Bifidus extract to help strengthen the skin barrier which is exactly what this mama needs. I love using this right after my skincare routine as the icing on the cake, so to speak. Pop the Renergie Lift Multi-Action Lifting and Firming Moisturizer over it and thank me later!

Lancôme La vie est belle Parfum ($128) - Truth be told, this perfume is not my style BUT if you do love warm, spicy, bold perfumes - this one is totally for you! French lesson alert: Do you know what la vie est belle means? I'll give you a few minutes. You looked up Lindsay Lohan's tattoo, didn't you? It means "life is beautiful" which is what this perfume is all about. With notes of patchouli, iris, praline, vanilla and gourmand, I expected this to be a little sweeter and lighter but with one quick spritz, people will definitely notice you in the room.

Lancôme Renergie Lift Multi-Action Lifting and Firming Moisturizer ($99) - With a 4.4 star rating on ULTA and Sephora and an almost $100 price tag on it, it's pretty safe to say there were high expectations to be met with this moisturizer. This moisturizer is lightweight with hyaluronic acid in it to bring in moisture and hydration and claims to firm and lift your skin. I've been using this moisturizer for about a month now and have noticed my skin feels very hydrated. I like to use this right after applying the Lancôme Advanced Génifique Youth Activating Concentrate but before I apply my makeup. This moisturizer combined with the concentrate has made my skin look insane. Super soft and smooth. I hate to admit it but I really loved these two together and if you happen to have a gift card or are in the market for high end skincare, I recommend these two!

Lancôme Definicils High Definition Mascara ($27.50) - Of all the products in this box, this is the one I was most excited to try out! You guys know my love for mascara knows no bounds but I pretty picky about them. I like the consistency to be slightly on the dry side and with a good wand that will lengthen my lashes. I absolutely hate wet mascaras that with a couple of swipes give you those good ol' spider leg lashes. Yuck. This mascara has a wetter than I normally like consistency, but with a careful hand, I was surprised to find that it defined my lashes pretty nicely without clumping together. Is it great? Sure. Are there others out there like it? Yeah. Definitely.

BEFORE / AFTER

JUST THE FACTS, JACK.

Let's be real. Lancome's products are considered high-end (at least by me) for among a few reasons but there's one catch - that high price point! But is the actual product inside worth those buckaroos? The moisturizer and serum combo, hand to God, made my skin feel incredibly soft and those fast-acting claims? So true. My skin was transformed instantaneously. I have to say I was super impressed. Unfortunately, the perfume didn't do anything for me (it's just not my style) and the mascara was gorgeous but I think I need one that volumizes a bit more. If you're someone who already has the curl but just needs some lengthening, this mascara is for you! Overall: The skincare is AMAZING, the mascara is great for what it is but there's others out there like it and the perfume wasn't for me but it was a pretty scent!
