First things first, I've been pronouncing Huda wrong the entire time, guys. I thought for the longest time is was "HUH-DAH. It's actually "WHO-DA". You would think I'd know this, but apparently, I've been living under a rock.

Now that that's out of the way, let's talk about the Huda Beauty Coral Obsessions Palette ($27) today. I shared a tutorial with it on my stories last week and had a blast with it. I think it's one of the most fun palettes out there, especially with summer coming up, I know everyone likes to use warmer shades AND it's only $27. So, I mean, it's a no brainer.

The Huda Beauty Coral Obsessions Palette ($27) is just one palette out of of many from the limited edition "Obsessions" collection. The Coral Obsessions Palette is probably the warmest palette out of the bunch, with two duochromes and seven matte shades of warm peaches, yellows and oranges. The palette is incredibly lightweight, compact and includes a mirror, so it's truly something you can throw in your bag and go with. ADDED BONUS: The shadows are the same size as the shadows in Huda's full sized palettes - just in a more compact space!

THE SHADOWS.

Unfortunately, none of these shadows have names. Ugh. So I've affectionately named them 1-9, starting from the top left to right. There are only two metallics and seven mattes in the palette. Any eyeshadows that I had issues with, I've made notes next to.
  • 1 - a peachy/orange duochrome metallic.
  • 2 - a fruit punch red matte (a bit dry and patchy)
  • 3 - a coral matte.
  • 4 - a brick red/brown matte.
  • 5 - a light peach matte.
  • 6 - a light orange matte.
  • 7 - a yellow matte (one of my favorite matte yellows ever!)
  • 8 - a slightly more pink coral matte.
  • 9 - a pinky/orange duochrome metallic.
I wanted to also note that the two metallics are pretty similar and I'm super confused why they put both of them in this palette. Don't get me wrong, they're beautiful and opaque and wonderful, but they could've switched it up a little. The first one is more peachy while the last one is more pinky.

(Lid: #9 | Outer V: #4 | Inner Corner: #7 | Lower Lash: #5)

Overall: YES YES YES! I have a few Huda Beauty palettes and this one is, hands down, my favorite for summer. It's filled with fun, warm tones that anyone can use. The price point is awesome at $27 for nine full-sized eyeshadows. Besides #2, all of the shadows applied and blended beautifully. Totally give this palette two thumbs up!
