Happy Wednesday, babes! Yesterday, I posted on Instagram how lately I've been having the toughest time taking little moments to myself for self care. I think as a mom who's also trying to make it as a blogger on the side, I put this guilt on myself when I do take a second to mindlessly scroll through Facebook. It's something I'm working on because a happy mommy is the best mommy even if she needs to hide in the shower to eat a cookie by herself. Not like I've done that or anything.

CLEANSE + TONING RED CLAY FACE MASK

If you're looking for a spa day in a tub, look no further! Did you know that red clay is a great natural skin detox? When applied, it pulls the dirt and impurities out of your skin as it dries. This mask in particular smells amazing; just like a day at the spa, and left my skin feeling soft and tight.

PURIFYING CHARCOAL + DIAMOND FACE MASK

"Brighten & Refine. A mineral clay mask formulated to purify the skin for a brightened appearance. With charcoal known for its ability to help draw out impurities and diamond powder to help skin find its balance. Excellent for all skin types or anyone who wants a little boost to their appearance."

Charcoal, like clay, is also know for its ability to draw out impurities, bacteria, dirt, etc. I have no idea that diamond powder helps find skin its balance. A quick Google search showed that diamond powder is normally used as a gentle exfoliant, which I'm sure also helps this mask give its skin-brightening results. I can't truthfully say my skin looked brighter, but it definitely felt softer!

SOOTHING ROSE + PEONY FACE MASK

One of my favorite things to do after I try out a product at home is to go online and see what other people thought about it. In particular, I love reading why people didn't like something because I always think hey, maybe I can figure out why they didn't like it. This mask, in example, had a few reviews complaining about an "old lady perfume scent". Guys, it's rose scented. I wouldn't even say it's that overpowering but it's there. There's even bits of rose inside the mask. I, personally, loved the scent and thought the mask softened my skin.

EXFOLIATING COFFEE + CHOCOLATE FACE MASK

If you can only buy one, THIS IS IT. Hands down. It smells like a yummy chocolate-y coffee as soon as you open it, that I just want to eat. The coffee beans are in there for a gentle exfoliation which I loved. They're big, soft granules of them. There's also a little caffeine in there to perk your skin up. The chocolate is just a scent, but hey, I'll take it.
