School's out for summer! Woohoo! I don't know who's more excited: me or the kids! I'm very ready for a little bit of "slow" back into our routine (even if it's only for a few months).

I remember my parents used to surprise my brother and I with a little "end of the school year treat" so we decided to surprise the boys with Lego sets they've been wanting for a while as a job well done.

Side note: I'm just over here waiting for my treat. I get one too, right? I feel like I might be waiting for a while.😜

Nothing too fancy but I really wanted to share this tradition that my parents had with me at the end of each school year, with my children.

I already had the wrapping paper for TJ Maxx but I spotted Target's new wrapping paper from their Spritz line and it's adorable! I linked it below. The yarn is just a bunch of scraps I had left over. I love the chunky ones from Hobby Lobby. After the boys take them off, I just pop them back into my scraps bag to save for another time. Lastly, the "Last Day of School" pennants are from Thread Mama. I'm so obsessed with her artwork. I printed them out, glued them onto a dowel and tucked it into their gift!
