Who's ready to get spooky?! Happy, happy September everyone! It's officially my favorite time of year. Halloween is next month and in the blogging world, I'm already late. 😜 Starting off the Halloween fun with, quite possibly, the easiest hack to bring the creepy to any dessert - and it only involves one ingredient: marshmallows!
EASY MARSHMALLOW SPIDERWEB HACK
Don't worry - I'm pretty sure marshmallow goes with everything.
All you need are some marshmallows (I used mini marshmallows) and a gorgeous dessert to spooky up. I used the incredible Viennese Sachertorte from David's Cookies which is a rich, creamy sponge cake made from high quality cocoa powder, butter and eggs. It is insaneeeee. But you can create this marshmallow spiderweb on practically anything - cupcakes, cookies, probably drinks? Let me know what you try it on!
INGREDIENTS:
- 1 cup of mini marshmallows
DIRECTIONS:
- Warm marshmallows up in the microwave in 30 seconds intervals until melted.
- Fluff with a fork.
- Let cool for 2-3 minutes.
- This part is messy: pull marshmallow goo out with hands and stretch over the dessert.
- Enjoy!
