Try It On Tuesday: Dollish Polish Expecto Patronum!

Hi dollfaces! I'm so excited to take part in a new challenge every Tuesday called Try It On Tuesday's! As Heidi from DIYPolish said: It is a personal challenge to start working through my never ending pile of untried polishes and I invite you all to do it with me! And boy do I ever have a lot of untrieds. So first up in this challenge is Expecto Patronum from Dollish Polish.

Expecto Patronum is a milky white jelly with a hint of turquoise shimmer, has iridescent flakies and varying size turquoise hexes.

Macro bottle shot!

Application was amazing and is totally opaque with three coats.

How beautiful is this color?

The polish is named after the famous spell from the movie "Harry Potter & The Prisoner of Azakaban" which fends off Dementors with a glowing white shield of positive energy when used.

Where To Buy: Dollish Polish - $8.75 for fullsize. Good news and bad news. Good news? DP is restocking this Friday! Bad news? She's not restocking this polish. BUT she will be restocking Random Dancing, Puttin' On The Ritzzz, Urban Camo and others! Make sure to like her FB to get updates!

The New Black Ombre Set in Haze

Hi dollfaces! I'm so excited to show you guys this The New Black Ombre Set in Haze! I'm the biggest fan of the ombre trend. So much even my hair took part in the ombre trend (not on purpose but it still looks pretty cool)! I've always been interested in the ombre nails look but never had the time to take one nail polish color and then keep adding white or black to make the ombre effect. I'm totally lazy, okay? I picked Haze because I love purple but they have more sets in turquoise, grey, pink, blue and tan.

I know it's simple but I love this packaging!

Super light grey to a dark purple with a violet flash.

I got so many compliments on this! Application with very smooth and almost all were one-coaters. Dried super glossy and pretty fast.

In the sun.

In the sun.

Overall, I loved this set! At $22 for a five-piece set, you're definitely not breaking the bank. If you're wanting to try a cool new trend, try this out!

Princess Polish - Orange Marmalade

There's lots of things that make me happy: the color orange, a Starbucks frappuchino, new polish, glitter, Hello Kitty - just to name a few. Now add my favorite color of orange and glitter together? I'm FREAKING OUT HERE! The wonderful Danielle at Princess Polish was kind of enough to send me Orange Marmalade from her "Must Be Jelly" collection!

Orange Marmalade is described as a tangerine scattered holo polish. Nailed it!

Application was awesome and easily built to opacity with three to four coats. You can still see a little bit of my weird tip line but it didn't bother me.

Side view to see the gorgeous holo-y goodness!

Bottle shot!

Macro shot. Clearly, I'm obsessed with this.

And because I always wanted to try this polish out with orange undies - Lynnderella Cauldron Drippings (with a chewed up cap thanks to my brother's puppy!)

Where to Buy: Orange Marmalade and the rest of the Must Be Jelly collection will be available for purchase through Princess Polish @ Storenvy on June 18. $4 for a mini, $8.50 for a full size, $22.50 for the Mini Collection (5 bottles), and $40 for the Full Sized Collection. Be sure to check out Danielle's blog, FB  and Twitter too!

365 Days Of Color - Bora Bora

Hi loves! Today I bring you another beautiful polish by the lovely Sanaz at 365 Days Of Color called Bora Bora from her Travel The World Collection! PS. Please ignore my weird acrylic nails. My real nails started peeling when I got to Louisiana last week and it's been a downhill battle since. So sad, but hey, work with what ya got!

Bora Bora is a smooth turquoise with a subtle baby pink shimmer. Sanaz named it Bora Bora after the place she's been dying to visit since she was younger. Girl, if you ever end up going, take me with you!

How gorgeous is this? It really is the most perfect soft turquoise. Hell, it even made my pale skin look tan which is a huge win in my book! Application was a bit sticky, but overall had no big problems with it. Two-three coats did the trick.

Close-up to see the gorgeous pink shimmer in it!

I'll be the first to admit I thought it would be a RBL Aqua Lily dupe but it's not. Bora Bora is like Aqua Lily's super lighter cousin. L-R: Bora Bora, Aqua Lily, Bora Bora.

Where To Buy: 365 Days Of Polish @ BigCartel - Travel The World Collection comes out on June 27th! Check out 365 Days Of Color @ FB for updates and more swatches of the rest of the collection!
