Hi dollfaces! It's Ipsy bag review time - Woohoooo! Nothing is better than seeing that hot pink mailer in the mailbox every month, I swear.
July's theme was "Beach Beauty"!
Sneak peek of what's inside!
The Bag: Okay. I love this. I can honestly I don't own a hot pink plastic make-up case. This will be amazing to put my sunscreen, cell phone, etc. in at the beach and not have to worry about them getting all sandy.
BH Cosmetics California Collection Eyeshadow Samples
Sigh. I wanted to like these. The colors themselves are absolutely gorgeous and I could see myself creating a killer eyelook using them but...it just didn't work out like that.
Hollywood and San Francisco were so chalky and would not hold their pigmentation - even over a primer! Malibu was the only one who wanted to play fair but again, didn't seem to last very long without gathering in the creases. I'm so bummed out over this.
Pop Beauty Pouty Pop Crayon in Fuchsia Flirt
Lately, I've been lovin' fun pops of color on my lips and this is one of my new favorites. The Pouty Pop Crayon is very hydrating. I kind of like that it isn't super opaque but rather a nice bright tint. I think this color is also pretty versatile and would look amazing on anyone!
Nailtini in Mai Tai
I'm never one to complain about what I get in these bags but sigh, another Nailtini? Not that they're not amazing - I mean, this color is perfect for summer! But I think I'm ready to try a new nail polish brand.
Sexy Hair Soy Renewal Beach Spray Conditioning & Texturizing Spray
I have been dying to try this! I love, love, love the beachy wave look but hate how it dries my hair out. This spray boasts to condition and texturize your hair with Argan Oil. I really like how this made my hair feel and I may be obsessed with how it smells like a summer day. Yum.
COOLA Mineral Face SPF 20 Rose Essence Tinted Moisturizer
Phew. What a mouthful. I really like tinted moisturizers with sunscreen for summertime. I'm a little bummed that my sampler didn't really have much in it, but I guess that's why they call it a sample, right? I found this to be super moisturizing and with SPF20, you can't go wrong but I wasn't really a huge fan of the smell. It's not a bad smell, but it's just not appealing to me. I'd take the typical sunscreen smell over this. I also liked that this is organic and that I was able to pronounce ever ingredient in it.
So what do you guys think of this month's bag? Would you purchase anything in it? If you received a bag, what'd you get in it!?
