Hi beautiful! Did you know that October is National Bullying Prevention Awareness Month? Soap & Glory partnered up with Stomp Out Bullying for their Proud Mouth Campaign. Soap & Glory is donating $1 from every Sexy Mother Pucker Trio sold to help the STOMP Out Bullying HELP CHAT Line fund additional trained counsellors to help kids who are being bullied and are at-risk for suicide. Their goal is to raise up to $25,000 for the cause.

Raise your hand if you're iffy about "lip plumping" glosses! *Raises hand* They freak me out a little. Naturally, I was a little weary trying these out..

According to the back of the box, Sexy Mother Pucker activates on contact. Just brush onto your lips and repeat to yourself "They're getting bigger!" (It's likely you'll notice a bit of a buzz. Note: This is normal)

The back of the box also says Sexy Mother Pucker's Superfill Microsphere Plumping technology expands up to 10x in volume when applied to your lips.

Sexy Mother Pucker in Punch Bowl, Candy Gloss & Half Naked

Punch Bowl is a muted fuchsia gloss with a chocolate covered cherry scent to it. Candy Gloss is a clear with shimmer gloss with a fruity scent to it. Half Naked is a dark nude colored gloss that is butter popcorn (!??!) scented. All three's formulas are very thick and slightly sticky. The colors are subtle and sheer. Oh, and they taste yummy!

The "buzz" wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. This is nothing compared to DuWop's Lip Venom (anyone remember that one?). Dear I say, I actually liked it? It was more of a light warming sensation that anyone can deal with. To answer the million dollar question: Does it actually plump your lips? Well, yes. I thought that the thicker formula fills in and smoothes all your lines, giving the illusion of fuller lips but when I wiped it off, my lips still appeared fuller (and a tiny bit pinker probably from the "buzz") so I wonder if there's actually something in the microspheres. Or it could just be in my head. It's really your call!
