TIOT: Girly Bits Wet Bikini!

Hey dolls! Today is Tuesday and you know what that means: Try It On Tuesday! I'm really excited because today I have on Girly Bits Wet Bikini - what better polish to say goodbye to July and hello to August with?

Essie Bikini So TeenyGirly Bits Wet Bikini and Essie Turquoise & Caicos

They're ready for their close-ups.

Wet Bikini is from the Calendar Girls collection for the month of August and has a clear base with aqua and blue squares and hexes, and tiny opalescent hexes.

Easiest application EVER. The glitter went on and layered so smoothly. It was a dream!

These nails remind me so much of mermaid tails.

Shade - Shows the opalescent hexes in true nature.

For whatever reason, the opalescent hexes came out yellow which makes this look kind of weird, but I always have a macro nail shot and that's how they came out every time :( WAHHH. Work with me, nail, work with me! I can promise you all, the opalescent hexes DO NOT look like that! Pinky promise :)

Where to buy: GirlyBits / Price: $10 for full size

hare Magic Mist!

Hi dolls! Today I bring you a hare Magic Mist! Unfortunately, I got on the hare train a little late and missed out on the likes of A-Positive and Pegasus. Needless to say, when I heard hare was coming back, I was stoked! Magic Mist is from hare's new summer collection called Where's Summer, B? and I'm absolutely in love with this!

How cute is that bunny label?

Magic Mist is a purple base with purple squares and fuschia, orange and blue hexes of various sizes.

No top coat because I'm a dummy and forgot but this polish is opaque in three-four coats!

SO in love with this!

Where To Buy: Llarowe tomorrow! Price: $8.00 / Make sure to check out hare's FB!

365 Days of Color Toxic Love Collection!

Hi lovers! I'm so excited to show you this new summer collection from the ever-so-lovely Sunny from 365 Days of Color for two reasons: 1. I LOVE neons and 2. I LOVE Sunny's polishes! I won't even bother blabbin' and just move right along to the pictures.

365 Days of Color Dangerously Beautiful, Killer Kiss, Deadly Attraction and Chemical Romance

A back view to check out their cute little behinds!

Dangerously Beautiful is a neon pink jelly with black and blue hexes.

This is a little bit brighter in person but camera was like LOL NO I WILL NOT SHOW HOW BRIGHT IT REALLY IS but it really is neon. I had a bit of a hard time getting the glitters out but it wasn't a huge deal. I know a lot of people hate having to fish for their glitters but I personally don't mind. If you like something, you sometimes have to work a little :) Three coats over white polish.

Chemical Romance is a neon purple jelly with black shreds, diamonds, hexes and bars mixed with gun metal and holographic hexes.

LOVED this. What a beautiful shade of neon purple! I had no issues with the glitter and had a smooth application! Three coats over a white polish.

Killer Kiss is a neon coral-y peach with white hexes, shreds, squares, bars and diamonds.

Again, my camera didn't cooperate with showing just how bright this is but wow. Just wow. My favorite of this collection! A tiny hard time getting the glitter out but again, I didn't mind! Three coats over a white polish.

Close up to show the hexes and other shapes!

Deadly Attraction is a neon yellow with black shreds.

Okay, I lied. THIS might be my favorite of the collection. My apologies for the dried on cuticles; this was my last polish to review! Absolutely NO problems with the shreds. They practically fought their way out that's how easy it was to apply them. Super smooth application with three coats over a white polish.

* All polishes were layered over Andrea's Choice Reverso.

Where To Buy: 365 Days Of Color @ BigCartel - $8 for full size and $4.50 for mini. Make sure you 'LIKE' her FaceBook page and check out her blog!

* Products in this post were provided to me by the manufacturer or their PR company for an honest review.

July MyGlam Bag Review!

Hi everyone! It's currently pouring outside with no sunshine in sight for the rest of the day so I'm so happy I took these pictures earlier when it was nice (and extremely hot!) out of my June MyGlam bag!

For those of you who have never heard of MyGlam, MyGlam is a company created by Michelle Phan, a YouTube Beauty Vlogger. Every month (for $10), MyGlam sends out a cute make up bag full of full sized or "deluxe" samples. On their website, each month a beauty stylist will put together a look using the correlating products.

So, the theme for July's bag was Beach Beauty and I really, really loved this bag! I think all the products worked well with the summer theme and are things you can actually use at the beach or in preparation for summer weather.

They always send a card with a picture according to the theme and on the back lists what's in the bag.

The bag! First off, I'm in love with this bag itself. It's super summer-y with it's adorable rainbow stripes. I don't really mind that it's see through but some people might if you're putting personal items in here. It's of mesh material and doesn't reek of chemicals like some of the MyGlam bags have in the past. A+ for the bag!

Ahhh, what's inside!?

Josie Maran Magic Marker Lip & Cheek Stain in Tango / $19 - Buy

Honestly, I was super livid about this at first. The marker is bright ORANGE. Who is going to use a bright orange color for their lips and cheeks? But alas, it isn't actually orange but a really cute coral (I apparently can't get enough of coral this year!). Thank God. The consistency is of Benetint but in a marker form.

See? Not orange!

NuMe Hydrating Conditioner Hydro Punch - $24.99 / Buy
Described as a "professional solution for dry or colored hair making revolutionary synergy between traditional Moroccan Berber women, Argan oil and innovative patented technology of SERATIN-K Protein Complex." I'll be honest and say that I have yet to try this but it smells really good. I know that's not much help. Haha.

Yes to Cucumber Hypoallergenic Facial Towelettes - $5.99Buy
I have been dying to try these out so I was so stoked to see them in the bag. OMG, guys. Let's talk about this. It smells like yummy cucumbers. CHECK! One of my favorite scents. Has aloe vera in it? CHECK! Removes make-up, cleanses and nourishes your face? CHECK, CHECK AND CHECK! This is perfect when you're leaving the beach and feelin' a little salty and dried out to quickly take a towelette out and wipe your face. I seriously love this.

Kiehls Ultra Facial Oil-Free Lotion - $26 / Buy
Described as "lightweight moisturizing lotion that helps visibly reduce excess oil on skin’s surface, leaving a shine-free and balanced appearance. It is non-greasy, and retains essential moisture in skin for a healthier, rebalanced skin barrier." I really like this. It made my skin feel very hydrated and clean with out feeling greasy and leaving a weird shine that I feel some lotions leave behind. It doesn't really have much of a smell. I would definitely recommend this product

Circus by Andrea's Choice - Price NA / Buy - Available in Fall 2012
And lastly, Andrea's Choice's new cosmetic line Circus debuts in Fall 2012 and with it is a cute selection of nail polishes! MyGlam sent out three out of the five colors that will be available: Reverso (white), Somersault (neon yellow) and Tightrope (neon pink).

Naturally, I got Reverso. Am I disappointed? A little bit. I wanted Tightrope but hey, it's no biggie! Reverso is a whiteout white and while I haven't tried it yet, I have high hopes for it. I really love the packaging that it came in and the bottle itself is very nice although I'm almost positive if I threw it and hit someone, I'd definitely knock them out! This thing is heavy!

Overall: I am very happy with this bag! I know many people have had issues with their bags from chemical smells to just not being happy with the products. I personally, never had these problems but I definitely think MyGlam will be redeeming themselves with this one!

OPI Care To Danse? + TJ Maxx Steal!

Hi angelfaces! So for those that have my FB page liked (If you don't, what are you waiting for!?) you know that I went on a job interview Friday! For those wondering, they've asked me to come in for a second interview today. Yipee! Now, if you know me, you know that my nails are always LOUD. I love neons and glitter bombs and crazy designs so to go neutral and demure is uncharted territory.

A few months ago, I won OPI's New York Ballet minis from Love For Lacquer and Planet Beauty and never got a chance to use it! Crazy, right? So, after talking to all the lovely ladies on my FB page a few nights ago, I decided that subtle was the way to go and Care To Danse? was the answer!

Care To Danse is a sheer lavender polish. I love that it really made my nails look super polished and clean.

The sun seemed to "white out" the polish in this picture. It's a bit more sheer and for some odd reason, made my nails look like they had a french manicure. Not that I'm complaining.

And for those wondering, "Hey Noelle. What'd you wear on your feet?" (Because I know you all were!) and mostly because I just want to show off my latest TJ Maxx steal, here's my new Steve Madden flats!

How cute are these Steve Madden coral-y pink snakeskin flats?

Macro of the pretty snakeskin print!

Cute, right!?
Where To Buy:
  • OPI Care To Danse? - Price varies / Amazon, eBay, drugstores, etc.:
  • Steve Madden Snakeskin Flats - $20.00 / TJ Maxx
So I want to hear: Would you take a job that wouldn't allow you to wear nail polish?

Is it Tuesday already? Holy toledo! Today is a super special Tuesday because it's my boyfriend's 23rd birthday! Yaaaaay! We're all going out to hibachi tonight celebrate! Sake bombs, sake bombs, sake bombs! Just kidding. Totally not kidding. Ahem. Anyway, onto the nails:

Dollish Polish Walk of Shame & Lynnderella Love Potion No. 99
Now normal bloggers would've shown you how awesome Walk of Shame looks by itself and then shown what Love Potion No. 99 looks like on top of it. Nope. Not me! *FACE PALM* I promise I will swatch Walk of Shame again by itself! Walk of Shame is from the Dolly Does Polish collection - her more adult-themed polishes. A royal purple base with violet glass fleck shimmer, there is nothing shamful about this polish! On top is Lynnderella's Love Potion No. 99 is from the Lovely is as Lovely Does collection and is a mix of square purple glitter, purple hex glitter,  holographic glitter and pink square and hex glitter.

Macro! I may or may not of used three coats of Love Potion No. 99 so my nail would look like a purple disco ball.

Macro of Love Potion No. 99 - Look at the holographic shimmer!

Macro of Walk of Shame - Lovin' the violet shimmer!

June Favorites!

It's finally summer time! My favorite time of the year. Well, minus fall. I freakin' love fall. But summer -  summer is where it's at. Summer means country concerts, camping trips, tan lines, iced coffees and flip flops. Let's dive in and check out what I loved last month!

Favorite Jewelry:
I bought this necklace from Forever21 right before I left for Louisiana last month and OMG! I received so many compliments. I call this my Cleopatra-esque bib necklace. It's kind of heavy too but I don't care. This really is the perfect bold necklace to go with a cute simple dress. ($12 - Forever 21)

Favorite Beauty/Hair Products:
Vaseline Total Moisture - A few weeks ago, I got a pretty bad sunburn on my shoulders and was really worried it would peel. I put a thin layer of this baby on my shoulders for a few days and am proud to say no peeling! Yahoo! I really love this because it doesn't feel greasy or thick. I hate that. It smells pretty good too! (prices vary - Walmart, any drugstore)

Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette

By far, my most favorite "naked" palette EVER! I love the whole beach goddess bronze-y natural look and this palette has that and more! My every day favorites for summer are Bootycall in the inner corner of your eye, Half Baked on the lid and Busted on the lower lash line. ($50 - Sephora, Ulta, UrbanDecay.com)

e.l.f. Contouring Blush & Bronzing Powder

As you can see, I love the heck out of this stuff. This is my go-to bronzer! As a pretty pale girl, I have a hard time finding a bronzer that doesn't make me look orange-y and fake. This bronzer is not only very natural looking but also has some subtle shimmer in it. ($3 - Target stores or e.l.f.)

Maybelline Dream Bouncy in Hot Tamale

Hot Tamale is a  hot coral-y pink cream blush. I love these Dream Bouncy blushes because they're bouncy! No, seriously. They're this awesome sponge-y feeling that actually holds that shape after use. These are perfect for summer - they're lightweight and it definitely doesn't feel like it's caked on. ($7.99 - any drugstores)

Favorite Hair Product:
.
So I saw Not Your Mother's Beach Babe Texturizing Sea Salt Spray (that's a mouthful!) on one of my fave beauty vlogger MacBarbie07's June favorites video and had to buy it to try it out. I've been dying for that perfect sea salt spray to make my hair look like it does after a day at the beach without the sand in places it shouldn't be part. Wa-la! Found it! It smells like vanilla which was totally unexpected for some reason. I love that that you can put it on with wet, damp or even dry hair with equally amazing results.  With naturally wavy hair, I have a hard time finding products that define and texturize without frizzy the heck out of my hair. NYM is my lifesaver! ($6.00 - Walmart stores or NYM)

Favorite Nail Polishes:
Dollish Polish Expecto Patronum

Dollish Polish It's A Me, Mario!
Dollish Polish rocked my June and I didn't even realize it until now! We've got Expecto Patronum with it's gorgeous turquoise glitters in a cream base and It's A Me, Mario! in a clear base with red and blue glitters and silver stars! If you haven't bought from Dollish Polish yet A.) You're missing out! B.) What are you waiting for?! ($8.75 - Dollish Polish)

China Glaze Flip Flop Fantasy
This is one of my favorite summer polishes ever! It's bright and it's coral-y pink. From China Glaze's Summer 2010 Poolside Collection, it's become an ultimate summer polish classic! (price varies, any beauty stores)

Favorite Songs:
Pontoon - Little Big Town
Good Time - Owl City & Carly Rae Jepsen
Kissed You (Good Night) - Gloriana

Favorite Websites:
- Brandy Melville - Can you be in love with a website? If you can, I am with this one. They have the cutest (and cheap!) clothes and jewelry. This site reminds me of Forever 21 a bit.
- Gypsy Warrior - Another clothing site I'm in love with and fuels me to find a farm that sells money trees.

Favorite Blogger:
Dulce Candy - Need another fashion blogger's closet to die over? I pick this one! Dulce (yes, that's her real name!) is also a YouTube vlogger, a mommy AND has her own online clothing store. From make-up tutorials to outfits of the day, this blog has everything a girl could ever drool over!

What were your June favorites?

the latest on the 'gram.
