Beauty | The Skin Forum Botanical Face Masks + 3D Contour Lifter & Shaper

* Products were sent for review.

Good morning, babes! I hope you all had an amazing holiday. Mine was pretty awesome and I loved having some time off with the little guys and my fiance without having to worry about deadlines. But, guys. It's so nice to be back to bloggin'!

Hey, anyone a Korean beauty fan? ✋ This chick is. I am obsessed with Korean beauty products (especially their skincare) and am so excited for today's post where I dive into a little bit of it. Today, I'll be talking about The Skin Forum, a site best known for their 6-Step Facial in Box where you can subscribe to a curated box of masks, serums and more sent directly to your door every month with everything you'll ever need for an at-home facial! Sign a chick up, am I right?

Today, I'll be checking out their Botanical Fuse Sheet Mask line as well as their slightly suggestive-looking 3D Contour Lifter and Body Shaper.

Beauty | Red and Gold

Some red, gold and olive green action for y'all since we are t-minus six days until Christmas! I can't believe it. I'm SO excited for this year because both of my boys are super into Santa. Hunter is obsessed with him and constantly talks about "Ho Ho". B likes him...just from afar. 😀

Five Ways To Rock Your Period Week W/ Pamprin

This post has been sponsored by the PRIMP Network. All opinions are my own.

Would you believe that up until a few months ago, I went three years without having a period (thanks breastfeeding!) and y'all, it was glorious. Of course all good things must come to end and I'm not sure if it's because my body created a backlog or something but holy cow, my period has come back with vengeance.

Gift Guide | For The Little Guys

Guys, I have to confess something. Call it genius, call it whatever you want - I can't decide which but I feel pretty proud of myself. Earlier this year, I downloaded this app where you can FaceTime Santa. Hunter (my three year) has been obsessed with it; FaceTiming him at least once a week, telling him exactly what he wants for Christmas. This has been going on for months! I've gone through the videos (the app has a handy tool where you can re-watch all of them), wrote down everything he wants. Genius?! Gimme a high five!

My youngest, Brody, is one and is pretty chill with just playing with whatever Hunter lets him play with ('because like, God forbid they share) but is super into cars, stuffed animals and action figures.

Today, I've come up with a little gift guide that covers everything from building blocks, to cars, to Power Wheels and more for the little guys or girls in your life.

Little Babes | Snow Days with National Geographic Kids "Hey, Baby!"

I received this product for free from Moms Meet (momsmeet.com), May Media Group LLC, who received it directly from the manufacturer. As a Moms Meet blogger, I agree to use this product and post my honest opinion on my blog. The opinions posted are my own.

Happy snow day, everyone! We're supposed to be getting 4-8" here in Connecticut and this mama is so excited. I love the snow! As long as I don't have to drive in. Or go out in it. At all.  Even to get the mail. I mean, that's what husbands are for, right? To bring the kids out in the snow while mama enjoys a nice coffee, peeking out the window to make sure her husband hasn't added a motor to the sled? Just me?

All kidding aside, you can only play outside in the snow for so long before everyone is wet and over it. We love to head inside, warm up with some hot chocolate and read some books. Now I know this sounds a little nuts - I mean, kids sitting still!? That's unheard of! - but our boys actually really love books. It's one of the rare things they actually sit down and hang out for.

We were recently sent a few books from Nat Geo and the boys fell in love with their Hey, Baby!: A Collection of Pictures, Poems, and Stories from Nature's Nursery.

Beauty | ColourPop Holiday Collection - All I See Is Magic Palette + Liquid Lipsticks

ColourPop is killin' the holiday collection game right now. So hard, in fact, I can't even keep track. I think they're on their like, fourth release? I don't even know. Anywho, this is a review/try-on/swatches/look/all that good stuff from the first holiday launch with the ColourPop All I See Is Magic Palette and five of the liquid lipsticks!

Little Babes | The BEST Christmas Jammies For Boys

* Links are affiliate links. What that means is that if you click on a link or buy a product using the links below, I receive a small (ie: not a lot, like, at all) from your purchase at no additional cost to you. Thank you so much for your support!

Happy Monday, everyone. Gosh, it feels good to be home. We flew out to Las Vegas last week for my fiance's work. We had such a great time but it was my first time ever away from the boys. I kind of struggled with it. I would start crying while FaceTiming them and every single thing I saw, I'd be like, "Oh wow, the boys would love the fountains at the Bellagio!" "Oooh, the kids would think the M&M store was so cool." I don't think we'll ever go out with the boys again!

Anywho, we're back and reunited (and it feels so good!) and we're officially in the Christmas spirit here. We've got our tree up, decorations are up (and being ripped apart by the boys) and we're  continuing our tradition of Christmas jammies and have thosepicked those out! Yeah, I'm totally that mom. I figure in a few years, I won't have much say in what they wear so I may as well cash it all in when they can't. I kid. Kind of.

I've put together the cutest comfiest jammies for boys that won't break the bank. I'm all for cute pajamas but there's no freakin' way this mama is spending $30 on a pair of pj's that they'll wear maybe a few times. Pshhhhh, not happening. I also added in our favorite Christmas books to read (we're big readers over here!) and some super cute slippers to keep their little toes warm!

Beauty | Rose Gold

Happy Thanksgiving, guys! Oh man. The latest ColourPop Holiday Collection has definitely put me in the holiday mood. It's so, so good, guys. While I'm not ready to share a review yet (still have a few shades from the palette to play with), I did want to get this easy look that would be perfect for Thanksgiving dinner up in time for today! I hope everyone has an amazing Thanksgiving filled with lots of family, food and fun!

This shop has been compensated by ACUVUE® Brand Contact Lenses and Collective Bias, Inc. All opinions are mine alone. #TreatYourEyes2 #TreatYourEyes #CollectiveBias

You guys. We are in full-on fall weather and I am loving it. The cool air, the sweaters and most importantly (especially as a beauty blogger) - the makeup. There's just something about the leaves changing colors and the holidays approaching that is just so inspiring and gets all the creative juices flowing.

Beauty | Mojo Spa Pumpkin Pie Soap - Review

* Thank you to Mojo Spa for sending this!

Hey guys! So... apparently Thanksgiving is next week!? Wait, what. WHAT THE WHAT. When did that happen? I've honestly thought I had at least two weeks. Crap. I'm behind. So, while I can't help you with a good recipe for a side dish to bring to Thanksgiving dinner, I'm pretty sure no one will be mad if you bring this sweet little thing instead. Just, y'know, don't let anyone eat it.

It's the Mojo Spa Pumpkin Pie Soap ($25) and is it not the cutest soap you've ever seen?

* Thank you to ESQIDO Lashes for sending these!

Today, I'll be chatting all about ESQIDO Mink Lashes (in particular the Oh So Sweet and Night Bouquet pairs). ESQIDO is pretty well-known in the industry for having super luxurious lashes, even gracing the faces of Gigi Hadid, Candice Swanepoel, Rihanna and more!

Hair | It's All In The BRÖÖ / Shampoo & Conditioner - Review

I received this product for free from Moms Meet (momsmeet.com), May Media Group LLC, who received it directly from the manufacturer. As a Moms Meet blogger, I agree to use this product and post my honest opinion on my blog. The opinions posted are my own.

Beer. It has the ability to create good times (like belting out your favorite song at karaoke) and bad times (like texting your ex-boyfriend), it creates the loudest burps known to man - and now makes your hair look awesome? What the what?!

Today, I'm really excited to talk about BRÖÖ Craft Beer Shampoos and Conditioners! I actually heard about BRÖÖ a few months ago and was super intrigued, especially after reading that beer is a great way to cleanse your hair. They've been doing it for decades! BRÖÖ founders Sarah and Brad decided to take that knowledge and create a haircare line that uses malted barley, aloe and caffeine (among other natural ingredients!) instead of with questionable chemicals.

Beauty | Bad Habit Beauty Aphrodite Palette - Swatches + Review

Hey, hey, hey babearoonis! I hope you're having a fabulous week so far. Today, we'll be talkin' alllllll about a new palette I snagged last week from HUSH - the Bad Habit Beauty Aphrodite Palette

Have you checked out HUSH? I had no clue what the heck it even was but always saw the ads on FaceBook. I decided to stalk check out their social media and found that they're a legit company straight out of California and have some really great deals on well known beauty companies (like Dr. Jart, L.A.Girl, W7, Japonesque, etc.) as well as some brands I've never heard of but are totally up my alley (Bad Habit Beauty, Face Candy, etc.). It's a good mix of both!

The Bad Habit Beauty palettes seem to be the hottest items on the site but they were always selling out. The hype always gets me, guys. I eventually snagged the Aphrodite Palette which is supposed to be a super close match to the HUDA Beauty Rose Gold Palette that is rumored to be discontinued soon (still available on Sephora right now!). Guys, HUSH's shipping is INSANE. I bought the palette one day, shipped the next day and arrived within two days. What the what!? I'll definitely be buying from HUSH again!

Beauty | Galaxy Vibes

Happy Friday night, everyone! Before we get into tonight's post, I just wanted to quickly update and let everyone know that the Mega Beauty Blog Hop Giveaway prize winners are being contacted (if they haven't already).

Also, I kind of touched on this on my latest IG post but wanted to talk about it here as well. For the past few months, I've been going back and forth about what kind of blogger I want to be. Am I strictly beauty? Or am I mommy? Lifestyle? Or am I all of it? It's been confusing (I'm sure for you, too). I was told multiple times by different companies and people that I'm "too beauty" to be a mommy blogger and "too mommy" to be a beauty blogger and for the longest time, I thought, "That means I can only be one kind of blogger so I guess I better pick one." But I love creating makeup looks just as much as I love reviewing strollers.

So, with that, I'm announcing that while sure, there might be a lot of beauty content on here, I will be adding mommy and lifestyle content back in because it's something I enjoy. Yay!

Noelle-O-Ween | No Bones About It

Happy Halloween to all my boos and ghoulfriends! I'm making this super quick because we have to head out right now but I'm throwing up one last look for Halloween using mostly the ColourPop I Think I Love You Palette. Honestly, all you really need is a brown, black and white shadow for the majority of the look. Alrighty. Guys, be safe tonight, have lots of fun and bring back lots and lots of candy!

Beauty | ColourPop x My Little Pony Palette - Swatches + Review

I'm pretty sure every time I do a review or look with ColourPop, there's always a new product or something launching. Case in point, yesterday they launched two new palettes as well as seven new eye brushes. Swoooooon, swoon, swoon.

But for now, let's talk about their second latest big launch: the ColourPop x My Little Pony Collab!

Beauty | Rose Toned Fresh Face

Hey babes! Before I get into this post, I just wanted to throw out there that there is less than a week left until Halloween (like, duh, Noelle, right?) so please, please, please comment below any last minute looks you'd like to see. I'm really down for anything.

Anywho, onto this look. I created this look a few weeks ago for a challenge with a beauty company but didn't make the cut #fail so I figured I can go ahead and post this. I really love effortless, minimal makeup with little pops of color.

Noelle-O-Ween | If I Were A Boy....

Anyone ever told, "Wow! You look SO much like your brother?" and you're just like, "Thank you." but deep down you're thinking, "Wait. Does that mean I look like a guy or my brother look like a girl?" Literally, my life story, guys! So I decided to kind of run with that and come up with this look for Halloween.

This is probably one of the easiest, cheapest costumes - perfect for anyone that got an invite to a party at the last second - as well as one of the funniest/biggest WOW! looks. Those are my favorite kind.

Also, I don't about you, but I'm totally diggin' me as a guy. I'm kind of getting blonde Johnny Depp vibes and y'know, I'm not mad at it. I think I'd call myself Jack. Or TJ. What do you think?

Beauty | I'm a 90's baby in my 80's Mercedes

Thank goodness it's Friday, guys. Ever have one of those weeks where you're just like, "if I can only make it through to the weekend"? Yeah, it's been one of those. Now that we're over the cold from hell, the boys have been giving me the hardest times to nap and that's basically the only time I get to blog so it's just been frustrating, to say the least.

But enough about that. Let's talk about this look. I just got the new ColourPop x My Little Pony Palette ($16 - still in stock!) in recently and wanted to play around with it. Did you guys grab anything from that release?

Beauty | Spiced Cider

Happy Saturday! Sorry for the little pause in Halloween looks. I'm taking a small break from Halloween makeup to bring you this look I've had sitting in my drafts for a little while. This week we caught the colds from hell - like, fevers, headaches, the whole shebang. It's been awful. Next week, I'll be back with more Halloween stuff  plus a giveaway!

Noelle-O-Ween | Mystical Fortune Teller

I knew in the beginning of September that I wanted to do a fortune teller look for Halloween. Have you guys ever been to a psychic or fortune teller? My mom and I have gone a few times and we've always had fun! I'm not sure if I wholeheartedly believe every single psychic we've been to but I definitely think there are people out there that can see the future; they just don't advertise it. What do you guys think?

Noelle-O-Ween | Here Kitty Kitty

Here we go, ladies and gents! Welcome to the first look of Noelle-O-Ween (yeah, still workin' on that name!) - a kitty. But not just any kitty. Well, I mean, this look is just a simple cat but there are so many ways to spice this up. A faux septum ring? Bam! A bad, punk rock kitty! A black and white striped shirt? Pow! A cat burglar (get it...cat bur-okay, I think you get it). Really, the options are endless!

Beauty | Beanie Baby

Get it? Beanie baby...because I'm wearing...a bean-no? Okay. If you're a 90's babe, you'll totally get it. But like, how does that work? I was born in 1988. Does that mean I'm an 80's baby even if I was too young to enjoy it? Who knows. Let's talk about this look. If you don't have the ColourPop Yes, Please! Palette, I highly suggest you go order it because it's ah-mazing. On top of that, if you spray your brush with the ColourPop Crystal Setting Spray, you can take virtually any shadow and make it into a super pigmented, smooth liner like what I did today with this fall-inspired graphic liner look.

Nip + Fab Glycolic Fix Foaming Pads, Dragon's Blood Fix Plumping Mask, Bee Sting Fix Eye Cream + Bee Sting Fix Repairing Shot

Products were sent from Collectively for review.

Happy October, everyone! I am so excited for what's coming up on the blog in the next few weeks. Aw yeah, it's Halloween time, guys! Let me know if you are looking for any specific looks for your costume in the comments. I'd love to try out some out-of-the-box looks!

But before we even get started on face paints and what not, it's always a good idea to make sure your skin is in good shape. On top of that, I don't know about you guys but as soon as there's a chill in the air, my skin needs some tender lovin' in the form of sweet, sweet skincare.

Pop of Pink

Au revoir my sweet, sweet summer! I love me some fall but I just had to share this one last look for summer. I mean, hey, it's getting warm in Australia, right? Let's be real, I'd totally rock this in the fall too. Isn't "Millennial Pink" the hottest color for autumn right now anyway?

Beauty | Tropic Like It's Hot

Hey guys! I have one last summer look on the first day of fall for you but honestly, this could also work as a Halloween costume if you're looking to go as something inspired by Birds of Paradise. Is that a thing? It's totally a thing now.

ColourPop Pressed Powder Bronzer, Highlighters, No Filter Concealers + Setting/Priming Sprays - Swatches + Review

Phew. That title is a mouthful. Also, I'm sure by the time this post goes live, I'll be like, five launches behind. ColourPop never quits! Edit: They've already come out with a new palette and have a new release on Friday.

I snagged the three biggest launches in the hopes that I can share my thoughts and let you guys know if they're hits or misses and if they're worth the insanity of waiting for the restocks and then trying to grab them before they sell out again.

Beauty | A Complete Youth Preserve Cleanser

This post is sponsored by A Complete but all opinions are my own.

Happy Friday, guys! Isn't it funny? The most common product I get sent is skincare. It's a blessing and a curse. Blessing because I wholeheartedly believe that great skin starts with great skincare (and hi, I'm so thankful that I am lucky enough to have things sent to me!). It's also a curse because I can receive so much that I feel like they don't get a lot of "try time". For me, a skincare product should be tested at least a month before it goes up on the blog. Honestly, a lot of products don't even start "working" until a month out. For bloggers that don't take that into consideration, I feel like reviews can be misconstrued.

Keenz 7S Stroller Wagon

*Keenz so kindly sent me this to review on the blog.

A few weekends ago, we had the most beautiful weather with some cooler nights and it got me so, so excited for the fall. I don't know about you guys but we love bringing the kids to all the pumpkin festivals and fairs that come around in the fall but dread having to drag around the double stroller. A lot of the festivals in fields and navigating that in a stroller is super tough. It's a battle y'all. But not this year.

Beauty | ColourPop Yes, Please! Palette

Phew. What a day! We spent the morning racing around doing different errands and while I'm normally the first one to jump up to get out of the house, right now it feels so nice to sit down and blog. Also, I know, I know. This palette is currently sold and I'm an a-hole for putting my review up now BUT as soon as I hear of the newest release date (because I'm positive there will be another), I'll let y'all know ASAP!

But let's talk about the palette because that's what we're all here for, right? The ColourPop Yes, Please! Palette is their first ever fixed 12 pan palette inspired by ColourPop's favorite time of the day - the golden hour!

Let's talk size. The palette itself is quite small (for some reason I thought it'd be bigger) with naturally smaller sized pans (0.85g) compared to their normal pan size (1.5g). When you do the math, it comes out to be about $1.25 a pan ($16 divided by 12 pans) which actually works out to be a good deal.

  • Full-Zip - a matte warm ivory.
  • Big Cocktails - a matte orange.
  • Champs - a matte pale peachy nude.
  • Bling - a metallic rust.
  • Louie - a metallic duochrome red with gold flip.
  • Butter Cake - a metallic pale yellow gold.
  • Spoiled - a matte brick red.
  • Gno - a matte burnt orange.
  • Mischief - a matte warm yellow.
  • Note To Self - a matte warm caramel.
  • Chauffeur - a metallic bright orange with gold flip.
  • French Kiss - a matte deep red brown.
I've been playing around with this palette for a few weeks now and have a few minor notes but I decided not to go into each shade individually because for the most part, they are amazing! Instead I'll be dividing them into their finishes - starting with the mattes. The mattes (Full-Zip, Big Cocktails, Champs, Spoiled, Gno, Mischief, Note To Self and French Kiss) are slightly dusty but incredibly pigmented. I personally don't mind a little fall out when the color pay off are as awesome as these are.

The metallics (Bling, Louie, Butter Cake, Chauffeur) were soft and creamy to work with - minus one. I'm looking at you, Butter Cake. Butter Cake felt kind of crumbly and like it had big sparkles in it (but it didn't - does that make sense?). It was weird to work with. You can see how it had a different consistency than the others in the picture below.

(Crease: Big Cocktails - Lid: Louie - Outer V: Spoiled - Bottom: French Kiss - Inner: Butter Cake)

Hair | Beach Braids + Buns Hairstyle Tutorial w/ Schwarzkopf Gliss ™ Hair Repair

This shop has been compensated by Collective Bias, Inc. and its advertiser. All opinions are mine alone. #GlissHairRepair #CollectiveBias

Ladies and gents, we are smack dab in the middle of the summer and I am LIVING for the warm weather! This is my first year ever embracing a lighter hair color for the summer and I'll be honest, I had no idea the sun, chlorine, etc. could have major effects (fading, color change, etc.) on my blonde balayage if I didn't take steps to protect it first.

Today I've partnered up with Schwarzkopf Gliss ™ Hair Repair to share with you how I protect my colored hair plus a super easy peasy tutorial on how to get a fun half up, half down braids and buns hairstyle in about ten minutes. Let's get started!

Protect your hair against the elements with a color guarding shampoo and conditioner.
Protecting your hair doesn't have to take a million different products! I've been using the Schwarzkopf Gliss ™ Color Guard Shampoo and Schwarzkopf Gliss™ Color Guard Conditioner for color protection for up to 12 weeks! It contains a special formula that seals your color in along with liquid Keratin to reconstruct your hair from any damage or breakage. Whether I'm relaxing in the pool or running around at the beach, I know that my hair is totally protected!

You can find the Schwarzkopf Gliss Hair Repair lines at your local Walmart, right in the hair care aisle. They have quite a few lines that cater to different hair repair needs such as Extra Volume, Ultimate Repair, etc. so there's a little something for everyone. Each line features liquid Keratin to help rebuild damaged hair.

Avoid tangly beach hair with a leave-in conditioner.
After you've towel dried your hair, spray in the Schwarzkopf Gliss ™ Color Guard Express Repair Conditioner. This will make your hair instantly soft and smooth to run a comb through and add more protection to your color-treated hair. I love using this to avoid that nasty, salty beach hair. You know the hair; it's the one that makes you look like a mermaid for the first half of the day and then makes you look like got into a fight with an octopus the second half.

Dry your hair upside down for more volume.
On low heat, I blow dried my hair upside down for some added volume. I rarely ever use brushes and instead my finger comb my hair until it's dried.

Split it down the middle.
Now that we have our hair fully protected against the elements, we can get to styling it! First, I split my hair down the middle so it's even on both sides.

Braid it up.
Next, I took my bangs, split them in half and, pulling the hair forward so I could see what I was doing, braided them in a traditional three-strand braid. Repeat on the other side.

Stretch it out.
To make your braids look bigger and thicker, take each loop and gently stretch it out. My braids always start out looking tiny and this little tip makes them look WAY thicker!

Twist it up.
Taking your thumb and index finger, skim your hair up and away from your face on the right side, about an inch above your ear (see first photo) and gather at the top. Secure with hair band. Repeat on left side. Then take your little ponytails and twist them.

Secure it.
